the short answer is there were a couple of soft markers found on the anatomy scan. the reason why I decided to take the amniocentesis needs more explanations, and I will talk about it on RU-vid sometime soon.
Thank you so much for this very informative video. I am going through the IVF process and this was so helpful for me. Been struggling with a decision on whether to do the PGT-A or not and I think I definitely want to do it. And congratulations to you! Baby dust to everyone in this journey.
Thank you for your kind words! I know it’s tough to decide, and I fully support your decision to do the PGT-A. It can save a lot of time, and give you reassurance throughout the process. Wish you a successful IVF journey!
Hi Juhui! Massive congrats to you and your husband on baby Sky! I was wondering if you could a video on supplements and diet you did leading up to your retrieval? that would be grand! Thanks in advance!
Im so glad your prgenancy is going so well! We are also on the midst of IVF and I really look forward to your videos! We just got our embryo results and waiting to hear back how many made it to blastocyst. Crossing fingers! Also your videos are the reason why I advocated for a modified natural embryo transfer. After my missed miscarriage and chemical pregnancy, I do feel confident my body is able to produce the right hormones on it's own! So thank you!! ❤
Thank you 💜 Yes, unless there are other indications, I think a modified natural transfer works great! Less injections and stress on your body :) I wish you a great result on the blastocysts and a smooth journey for the rest of IVF. You’ve come so far already! :)
Juhui do look into water poisoning though. Don't drink more than 800 ML to 1 litre of water in an hour. Because that can lead to hyponatremia (low sodium), which is an imbalance of electrolytes and that is dangerous. Love your videos with your scientific amd mindfulness approach. Lots of love and best wishes for the road ahead ❤
Thanks for mentioning this, Meera. That’s a valid concern. Everything in moderation is key, for sure! Thanks for your kind words. I wish you the same 💜
I have done only 1 DNA testing 😢is it normal to do 2 DNA testing? I got 9 embryo for DNA testing and only 3/9 was normal…. Now I’m thinking if I had done 2nd round of testing I would have more normal embryos ?
That was certainly an emotional roller coaster for you both ! I'm so happy hear it all turned out well❤ I am currently on this emotional roller coaster bc at 10/11 dpo my hcg was only 15. I have to go back on Monday 7/15/24 for repeat labs. Please say a prayer this baby sticks! ❤
Thank you 💜 I know that feeling when you have to wait for the next beta test…but please don’t feel discouraged by the low HCG level. It’s the doubling trend that truly matters! I’m sending you my best wishes for your successful results!! 💛💜
I didn’t for the FET. The only time I had the acupuncture was after I had a missed miscarriage. I visited an acupuncturist to get herbal tea to help with the miscarriage and did one acupuncture session just to relax.
I’ve been on aspirin since my IVF cycles, and then I kept with it into my current treatment of lupron/letrozole. I asked my doc about keeping it even before my prep for FET (which I was to start aspirin) and said it wouldn’t be an issue … I hope it’s been ok 😅 … I’ve been using applicators for any progesterone use, didn’t even think about the plastic part! But I think I’ll still do it because it is messy! Lol
Would you mind sharing more about the shared risk program please? How much (if you don’t mind sharing) did you have to pay? Thank you!! Your video makes us hopeful ❤️wishing you lots of luck
Thank god yours was progressing ! I agree that the nurse explaining your first result should’ve just said to come back in 48 hours as it could progress and to not be alarmed. You didn’t ask for any of the negative input. Thanks for sharing. I go on Wednesday to check my hcg level as it’s the 9th day. Wish me luck 🍀
I m on day 7 of my frozen embryo transfer and also taking Aspirin but didn’t got any spotting.. m worried that the procedure worked or not.. pray for me
Please don't worry! It's totally normal and common not to have any spotting when pregnant. I keep my fingers crossed for you, and my best wishes for your result!
Do you know if your lovely little one is a boy or a girl?🥰 Did you decide to be surprised? My husband and I have our FET coming up end of June, we are trying to figure out if we should pick or be surprised😅
My first transfer (FRESH 5days ) was not successful . I'm ready for the next round 🙏🏼. Can please help us what food do you always eat and what vitamins please 🙏🏼🙏🏼 thank you, and HUGE CONGRATULATIONS 🎊🎈🎉🍾 YOU DESERVED IT AND YOU GONNA BE A GOOD MOM ❤️ I CAN FEEL IT
Thank you for your kind words! Sorry to hear about your first transfer. I heard generally fresh transfer is more tricky, because of the hormonal imbalance right after the egg retrieval. Have you considered doing a frozen embryo transfer for the next round? Either way, I am rooting for you and sending my best wishes for your next transfer 💜 You got this!! I tried to eat Mediterranean and anti-inflammatory diet during the cycle. I took one pill of regular prenatal vitamin each day. I've shared more on my experience of a successful frozen embryo transfer in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oZiMFBwpyYU.htmlsi=vz8p7-ONtsaHfikb
I have done two egg retrievals, two fresh transfers, and four FETs, AND I still learned things from this video. It was so good! Thank you for explaining so much ❤ I’m 40 years old and I’m following your journey 😊 Congratulations 👶🏻
Thanks for sharing. It is so encouraging. I am also 41 and had FET just two days ago. 🤞🏾that our test comes back positive. I am so very happy for you both🎉.
Thanks for your comment. I know the two weeks waiting period can feel like forever, but please give yourself a lot of rest. You deserve it! I am sending you my best wishes for your result 🤞🏼🎉
Congratulations. Very informative video. I have an embryo that came back as no result and was told the risk it comes with retesting it. So thank you for sharing your story. Gave me a new perspective
Thank you for your kind words. I know it’s a tough decision to make, and I’m glad you found this video helpful. Whatever decision you end up making, I am rooting for you and your embryo! Personally, the fact that our embryo was a day-5 blastocyst gave us the confidence and the reason to go for the re-biopsy.
I had invisalign done, you have to brush and floss after you eat each time and put the trays back in right after or you can get cavities. I personally wouldn't do it during pregnancy because the morni g sickness can return at any time and snacking throughout the day increases as you need more calories in your 3rd trimester.
