I own the Proxima Scuba 🤿 Master that I bought two years ago and about two months ago picked up the SLA047J1 Marine Master. The Proxima is a nice homage watch but nothing compares to the real Marine Master watch.
They're pretty much exactly the same but always buy an nh36 if you're building a watch because you can remove the day wheel and parts and keep them for spare parts and they're the same price so it doesn't matter
What a truly beautiful piece you made! I love that particular shade of blue. I forgot to mention the excellent and professional appearance of the video, too!
Beautiful watch. But you cut the wrong leg off the dial on the date side and hid it from the audience removing the other one and using dial dots. If someone follows your video like tutorial will end with a ruined dial just because you present an error like a good job. For me, the video would have been great if you present the job with all the problems you faced. For example, removing the rotating bezel requires much more strength than we can see on the video. Or maybe you are extremely strong. 😂
This watch has so many variations produced by different manufacturers. Some variation can't even remove the bezel. The one I modded here is very earlier version which bezel can be removed easily.
Great moddded job indeed! I bought both Heimdaler black dial with waffle strap and Steeldive blue dial with bracelets sterile no logo for comparison purpose ,too. Its also due to the value of money rather than buying 1 spb151 willard of usd1200 but I had 2 similar watches for less than usd300! A no brainer indeed! Hahaha..i have modded my Heimdaler with seiko 6105 willard dials...so happy...highly recommended purchase!
I like to refer this mod as the 62 mas field dial Field watches aren't what I would usually go for but I can honestly say that have completely changed my mind All of your work is absolutely remarkable and there isn't a single one I would not be very proud to have in my collection PS I haven't seen any recent projects posted here on RU-vid I truly hope all is well with You and Yours my friend 👍
Thank you for the video. How do you know how much to trim off the stem? And is that red liquid just a thread-lock? What do you use to lubricate the case-back gasket?
When someone is selling "non-authentic" watch as "authentic" watch with actual price tag, it will be considered as counterfeit? There is no sale of this watch in this video.
I noticed you did not show the chapter ring replacement, as the SD1970 has a black one, but you have installed a minute marked one with the MM300 dial ?
Hi. All the mods i have seen they need stickers to hold the dial, it is because the crown position is 3.8 but the Steel dive crown position is 4. Where did you get that dial ? You did not use stickers! Thanks in advance
