Hi the fly lure i make myself. The other lures like the jerk bait and mimic minnow you can buy online at tackle warehouse or at other sporting goods store.
I know this is the st croix river but is this the minnesota side the camp ground right? I was curious because I actually want to go try it for myself this year I plan to buy a wader and go
They both have their advantages and disadvantages. Plastic boat is more stable and can fit two people plus with a trolling motor you can slowly troll around the lake. Disadvantage is that it is heavier than most kayaks and so you can't bring it to certain smaller lakes etc. Kayaks are lighter and so you can bring it to more off road areas. Kayak you can't troll so gonna have to pedal or paddle around.
Hey we were on the same lake that morning....we were to the right as you were coming out...we did ok...but you guys did better than us that morning....this lake produces big bass.
