I have family that lives in Chickamauga and am thinking about planning a December trip up that way and wanted to try to get some hunting in while up there. The follow light is great if you have several people in a hunting group and you want to see the direction someone is walking. You can tell if they are going left, right, towards you, or away from you based on White vs Red. Also when you are tracking a deer it helps to tell where you are with respect to others to ensure grid searches are consistent. I also have used mine to hang on a limb above first blood or the downed animal to be able to go directly to it where as the White light is so bright you don't get a pinpoint spot to walk to.

@chickamaugabowhunter2067 the little metal loops that come with the amsteel rope wench lines. I wrapped mine with paracord and attached one to my saddle where my bridge attaches, and then one on my tether line.

So with the 4 sticks and aiders how high can you climb?
@chickamaugabowhunter2067
@chickamaugabowhunter2067 3 месяца назад
I am 5'9 and I can hit 21ft almost 22 comfortably to the top of my top stick. A taller person with longer legs could probably do better than that lol

That's with an 18 inch aider on all four sticks also

I got the same X2 pack in tan suede. Love it and Eberlestock products I carried two platforms and a set of sticks with that x2 for when my wife and I went on the specialty rifle hunt. See you out there!

Thanks for the video! One thing that helped me get the bungie through easier is I tied some fishing braid to the end of the bungie, fed the fishing string through the hole, got the bungie started in the hole and then pulled it through with the braid

@@chickamaugabowhunter2067had the same struggle with my bino harness bungee and range finder and discovered that technique then lol Also for anyone looking to do something similar, the same technique worked well for the paracord at the top of the steps. Just tie the braid on and cut the paracord as close to the braid as you can (helps keep it compact)

I think you'll love them. I ain't sold on a single brand of anything I go with what I like most hints the tethrd sticks and cruzr saddle but in my opinion those one sticks are really hard to beat once you silence them

Luckily, they have pre cut stealth strips I ordered with the sticks. But that light weight is hard to pass on. Anyway, I can shed weight efficiently climbing through the mountains I will do it.

@@andrewsheppard9084 I understand I went from full length hawks to these and the weight difference is insane you don't realize how light they are till you get them in your hands honestly

Excited. Just ordered the same cutter, looking forward to my first arrow build
@chickamaugabowhunter2067
@chickamaugabowhunter2067 5 месяцев назад
Just go slow and spin the arrow slowly while cutting it keeps it from fraying the carbon. If you have any older crap or broke arrows practice on them you'll see what I mean. It's a good cheap option but there are tricks to it to make the cut smoother.
@chickamaugabowhunter2067
@chickamaugabowhunter2067 5 месяцев назад
If you just use it like a chop saw seems like it frays the carbon but even though it's not an actual arrow saw it does work fine if you go slow and spin the arrow.
