We started our Fulltime RV experience in 2012 and thought by sharing some of our experiences some may enjoy it AND it may actually help some in some way. We will talk about everything from RV's (5th wheels and motorhomes) and trucks to travel days, hikes, museums, campground reviews, and more. No fluff here, just the way it really is for US. Don't let anyone tell you that THEIR truth is the ONLY truth, do your research and trust your gut. What is true for us may not work for you and someone else's truth may be their truth but may not work for anyone else. Don't get caught up in the BS.
On our RU-vid channel we have I think 5 videos showing from when we first bought it up to almost what it is today. Within a month I will.do the last one for this year on how it is now.
My plan has been to stay away from gas powered equipment and I plan to pick up a EGO 2135SP battery powered mower next season but Diane has been pushing for me to get a rider. Problem is I'm nor paying that sort of money for a good battery powered rider. WINTER!!! We will be out of here in roughly 3 weeks, long before winter hits.
Dave, was watching the NASCAR race on the weekend. A Dewalt sawzall got stuck under one of the race cars and was dragged for a distance. Ground off a good piece of of it but it still worked which was a pretty nice ad for Dewalt.😀

Like someone else mentioned I think the alloys or metals used today act differently anyway so we are not lazy LOL!!! Lets go with that. Enjoy the upcoming weekend.
Pyramid scheme? Nope they are just referral rewards. No different then getting a referral kick backs for having people join a bank or brokerage company you are using. A real pyramid scheme is Amway, Herbalife, Mary Kay, and Amsoil.
@@daveanddianethrowingcautio5707 I should have been more specific. Discs, plows, planter heads, etc. Just the equipment part that came into contact with the dirt...not the entire machine, lol.
I know this is 2 years later but I work for the Canadian version of Uncle Sam's boat tours across in rockport and I can definitely say boldt castle is great because you can spend all your time looking around, singer castle has allot more to see but not enough freedom to see it and it's truly unfortunate, the passages and dungeons are the coolest part you can't actually see.
Berkey says the filters are good for 6000 gallons before buying new one and we know we run about 2 gallons per day through the filter so with that in mind we should be good for roughly 8 years. We bought our Berkey in July of 2018 so I figure to be safe we will replace our filters for the first time someplace between July of 2025 or 2026, probably closer to July 2025. UNLESS we notice anything funky. Thanks for the question.
Received our Royal Berkey for Christmas. We have a family of 4 and fill it about 3 times a week. Cleaned for first time and the water into flowing as quickly as below… any troubleshooting thoughts?
Did you let the filters dry before putting them back in? If so you will probably need to prime them. And even if you didn't let them dry I would say priming would be the first thing I did to try. One time after cleaning I let them lay for some time before reinstalling and I had to prime them but that was the only time.
