@@lorenzeberle987 ahh you are lucky. I was a babysitter for a while and I'll preserve food in the fridge, but some parents just throw out the food if their kids don't finish. Might go bad.
I followed this guidance, and when I tried to dispense hot water after changing the filter.... BANG... my RCD tripped and water is leaking out of the NeoTank.
How important is it to have the overflow tube make a downward loop before connecting it above the main tube on the insinkerator? Ours is 2 meters long and I recently had to empty it because it was full of horribly stinking brown water. I was thinking, if I buy a short one that only goes downward, it will only hold air. But maybe then I will get smell from rotting vegs in the tubing in front of the siphon...
We are pleased to introduce this revolutionary product, the Insinkerator Food Waste Disposer in Oman -a boon for connoisseur families. As you are aware, preventing the pile-up of food waste such as vegetable peels, eggshells, fish, and meat bones, and disposing of them in a timely manner while keeping the kitchen odor-free is a significant task and an unavoidable routine. The Insinkerator, a product from Whirlpool, USA, performs this job efficiently, adding convenience and tidiness to your kitchen while also helping reduce greenhouse gas production. Its installation and operation are very simple. It can be fitted right under the kitchen sink, allowing the wastewater from the sink to flow through the Insinkerator. The device grinds and pulverizes all solid waste into fine particles, which can then be flushed out into the wastewater line. As the Insinkerator is a product from Mars, many people may not be familiar with its concept and utility. We at Al Hashar Electronics LLC are pleased to clear your doubts and help you choose the right product for households . Please visit our Show Room at Ruwi. I think garbage disposals are literally to help prevent drains being blocked over time by small food debris, not to push down meats and poultry which are full of fat that can easily clog the drain
I always used to say this brand as In-sink-EARator as a kid, for a long time just also didn't realize that wasnt the actual name of the sink food eaty thingy 🫡🤣
Completely unnecessary headache in your kitchen I haven't seen them in Europe but first time here in US. It stops working, get clogged etc, all kind of problems while you can simply waste food leftovers in garbage
A few people have them, but generally we dont put food waste down the drain. We dont put food waste down the drains . There are multiple reasons why we dont use them. We are far more environmentally aware. For a start, waste disposal units waste water, which is not an infinite resource. Putting fatty food down the drain can cause a fat berg bocking your drain, which sometimes need an expensive plumbers visit. Many parts of the UK have a food wastes bin, which is collected and taken to be composted. Many of us also have our own composter in our garden which food scraps end up on them. All modern houses are built with a water meter . You get billed on your water usage Also they were banned under the 2021 environment act . They were banned due to the high water usage.
Boring question but, is this legal in the UK? I thought the uk government advises not putting waste food or oil down into the water system as water treatment plants can't cope with it in mass
