Hey there, I'm Mert. I'm a big fan of Sonic, Gran Turismo, and Formula 1. I make videos when I feel like it about pretty much whatever comes to my mind, really.
The environmental details & physics are cool, I guess. But, you know - I'd rather have a full-fledged story, real dungeons and proper side quests. Instead of just "Go kill Ganon," 4 same-y Divine Beasts, 120 same-y Shrines, 900 Korok seeds and bland fetch quests. It's like they focused on the tiniest details but neglected the actual big picture. Half-life 2, for example, had all these fancy physics & shit but it ALSO had a tight, well-designed campaign. It wasn't just Gary's Mod.
PSA: The full official Gran Turismo 7 version has been released, and it has a proper outro now. Shame that it took this long, it caused it to not be featured in this video, even though I made this video over a year after the game's release. Anyway, you can check it out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DiX1nLHM1Ts.htmlsi=cLxp2zg01rVxbmYJ
Yeah, I saw that! Fantastic outro, isn't it? Glad it feels like a complete song now. Updating the playlist was on my to-do list but thank you for the heads up regardless.
@@w花b common misunderstanding among Japanese audiences, thinking it's name is "Grantu Rismo". I myself thought so too in my childhood. it just sounded so right, since in Japanese phonetic (katakana), Gran turismo is gurantu-risumo.
Oh man... Played GT4 a lot almost 20 years ago when i lived in a living-community. It was 'mandatory' to watch at least the choir-part! Felt like the zazen-moment after entering the dojo... Great song, great game!
@Continental_Champ Admittedly when I posted this, I hadn't seen it yet and had been searching everywhere to see if it was credited or even in the film and it wasn't listed on either the OST or the score. I'll accept half an oof for that. So what is it called?
Thank you for this! Also random question, you look like my husband, what is your race/ethnicity? He was adopted has no idea what he is and your face is so similar it’s uncanny 😂
@@Continental_Champ I'll let him know I think he's a Turk 😆👍 And thanks for claaing out this game, it is a mess, and the mass psychosis phenomenon seems to make people believe anything is true
Dude. The weapon durability thing you nailed. That should be addressed. The soundtrack wasn't the best, but it is good. Everything else, you clearly have no idea what a Zelda game is supposed to be about. The first and foremost point of them has always been an emphasis on an open world with events that can be tackled in any order, and the second has always been exploration. The only thing you had to do in order in the previous games were the dungeons themselves. As far as being one/two-shot, YOU'RE IN THE WRONG PLACE! Go somewhere easier to bulk up your equipment and get more hearts. Even games like Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword, which were more linear than the others, are *not* entirely so, and encourage you to fully explore the areas as they are opened, and take on multiple side requests at the behest of other characters. Honestly, it just sounded to me like you want Zelda to be more like Halo where it tells you exactly where to go and what to do.
Thank you, I appreciate that! Well, I did say I didn't play any other Zelda game. The game doesn't need to tell me exactly where to go and what to do, but it does need to be not as infuriating as it currently is to make me want to explore.
I totally agree with everything you covered. You nailed it. Thanks for saying the truth of what this game is. Walk climb and glide, that's it. Weapons breaking, a timer waster. Cooking, entertaining in the beginning, but ultimately another time waster. Don't forget the stamina wheel, yet another time waster. The whole 'game' is a great time waster. Your summary was spot on too. Currently playing Twilight Princess and it is far superior than Breath of the Wild.
