Holy cow! I just finished listening to this and as a musical lover and recent Brent Spiner fan finding this was such a delightful surprise! I’m so impressed by the quality of production and how they managed to capture the qualities of a long dream like this. As someone who dreams up entire stories/movies, this was so cool to listen to because it really captures how it feels
Thanks for posting this. I have a lot of admiration for Brent Spiner as an actor and as a human being. He's a pretty good singer too. And Maude Maggart has one of America's greatest undiscovered voices. The radio-style drama they put together on this recording is nostalgic and heart-warming. I congratulate the principles for thinking it up and putting it together. It gives me great pleasure.
JUST realised the "I remember you" song Maude Maggart sings (TO ME it sounds like the Sally song from Nightmare before Christmas; it's got that similar tone to it) pulls at the heart!!
So peaceful and calming. Both beautiful voices. Brent Spiner has a gorgeous voice as it ts- but singing WOWZA so gorgeous!! I LOVE a man who can sing!! ALSO love the story background idea... makes the songs more meaningful... gives me a more vivid picture of what is happening <3 <3
I would have loved to see a film version of Dreamland but I can understand my Mr. Spiner didn't do it since he wasn't exactly a young man anymore when he made the album. He still has a beautiful and sexy voice, though.
Damn me, his voice is magical! I simply wanted to have some nice, neutral background music for story-writing and now my story is all dreamy, violet and, I dunno, Spiner-y?

I keep imagining this story in my head with Brent in his late 30s being the guy, Denise Crosby being the girl, and, God knows why, with Clint Eastwood being the violent fiancé, lol.
