What is happening with UBs metro system when will they start building that? that would help a lot with reducing traffic and emissions which UB is really struggling with also check out Dubai's inside cycling paths, that would be great for UB in winter
Hi, awesome video. I watched it till the end and yeah, I agree with you, they're all beautiful. Every single one of them has a story behind itself, usually a story we don't even know, as foreigners. For me, am from Poland, and I also saw polish coins around 10:53 timestamp. So, some of them are actually out of use already. 20 złoty coin is not used anymore, nowadays we have a 20 złoty banknote, and for 20 złoty you could pay for 3 to 4 bus or train tickets in a city, depending on the distance of your ride. Maybe even 5 tickets, if the distances were small. Or few big packages of pasta lol, that's kind of a deal an uni student would go for, when they do home cooking. So yeah 20 złoty coin is not used anymore. 2 złoty is not used anymore either, I mean your version is old, nowadays there are new versions of 2 zł as coins and they're entirely different so yours is not used at all. 1 złoty is used, 50 groszy is used, 5 groszy is also used. Polish coins have very simplistic designs I would say, while bank notes are a little bit more sophisticated. And... The reason why your coins changed colours a little bit is because of "coin toning". Coins are usually made from nickel, silver, and copper. These materials will change their colours over time, if they are exposed to other chemicals. It's crucial to store coins in very special ways to make sure they don't change their colours (usually with absolutely no access to any oxygen). Coins will change colours sooner or later if you store them with some access to oxygen and air, if they touch plastic or cardboard, or anything like this, materials that touch the coins influence their colour in the long run. So if somebody stores one coin for 30 years in a cardboard box with small access to oxygen, it will change. If somebody stores it for 30 years with absolutely no oxygen access, no air access, and no touching of cardboard or plastic materials, it may not change at all. Hope it helps. And gotta say, you look beautiful, I mean you're really stunning!
gonna add that the only coins that never change their colours or anything no matter what they touch or if they have oxygen around, are gold coins. If something is made from real gold, it will never react to any chemicals, and will never change it's colour
Greetings from Poland. Believe it or not, there are actually mongolians and central Asians like Kazakhs in Poland (although they are a really small minority). Some people here may have Mongolian ancestors not even knowing about this. Poland is not even close to mongolia geographically, but some polish have ancestors from russia, and some russians have ancestors from central asia (which in turn have ancestors from Mongolia) or directly from Mongolia. This way some polish may have some mongolians in their bloodline, but they don't really look very Mongolian anymore, or they don't even know about this. I have never been to Mongolia myself but it's been a goal for me for many years already. Thank you for showing things to us
Interesting video. I have most of the the notes 1955 and after. The early notes you showed are pretty scarce in any condition here in the states. I enjoy your channel, keep the videos coming.
Thank you. Oh really, where did you get them? Have you visited Mongolia before? The notes I have were gifted to me by my grandfather who is now 80+ years old. I will try to post as often as I can :D
Swayambhu word is also in our culture and language (Marathi) and surprisingly with the same meaning you explained. There is a temple named Swayambhu Mahadev in Nepal. Rajesh from India.
Hi Rajesh! Thank you for commenting on my video. I only found out about Swayambhu yesterday! Thank you for informing about your culture and language. Best regards from Mongolian to India :)
- A Commemorative Banknote is a special type of currency note issued by a country's central bank or monetary authority to honor and commemorate a significant event, person, or historical milestone! - Notgeld or Emergency Money is money issued by an institution in a time of economic or political crisis! - A Standard Banknote is a monetary unit which is designated by a government to serve as the basis of its currency system and into which other types of money in the country are convertible compare standard of value!
Nice collection. You have taken the efforts to give the value in USD of almost all notes. Thailand currency is pronounced as Bhat. Pronounce 'Bha' like you pronounce 'Pha' in Pharmacy and prounce 't' as you prounce the 'T' in Taiwan.
I enjoyed your presentation of your banknote collection. I also collect world coins and banknotes. I was awesome to hear you speak about your collection.
As soon as we run out of oil we will suddenly find that non-plastic plastic wasn't so hard to make after all 😂 we are halfway there, we only have about 50 years left. The planet doesn't care if we send outselves extinct, life will go on ❤
Yes, you are completely right ☺. This perspective is quite relieving to me that life will go on 🌟. Oil profiteers are slowing the development of non-plastic plastic on purpose for their benefit for sure.
You are exactly right that we cannot control every single aspect in our lives; however, if everyone did their best to do their part in using less and being more conscious of how’s it’s affecting our planet, we could make a difference. Personally I’m terrified for our future. Unfortunately not enough people are willing to sacrifice their lifestyles yet 😢😢😢
@benjaminollis7621 I do need to worry. Have you not noticed the rapid weather pattern changes, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, massive fires? All these things not only kill people but make people lose their homes and everything they own. Insurance companies will not be able to pay for everyone and the government will not cover everyone’s loses. It’s a terrifying time to be alive. I’m not at all worried about eating meat although I don’t particularly like it, but my family does meat eating isn’t my issue. It’s all the carbon footprints and SOOO much plastic and waste that NO ONE seems to care about. We’re all doomed. 😞
@benjaminollis7621 I do my best without it driving me crazy. If you try to take on fixing things on your own it’ll only make you insane. It takes all of us to come together to make a difference, but that doesn’t stop me from doing my best every day and I keep learning more and more. Sometimes I learn that what I’m doing isn’t helping at all, but all we can do is try to be good to each other and to our earth. I honestly do my very best to be the best human I can be. I’m not always great and I don’t always like myself but I keep trying. ❤️🙏
@benjaminollis7621 I am NEVER harmful purposely. My heart is golden and filled with compassion for people and animals alike and I wish for nothing but the best for this entire world. Be well my friend. 🥰🙏
Yes, I am with you on that. The kind of thinking when I was trying to be zerowaste is still with me. I think my issue was I was trying to be perfect and perfect does not exist. Actually, low-impact living is useful and healthy for the individual as well, it makes you less greedy of obtaining stuff (because you know they will be trash) and we try to use reusables which is better than plastic leached drinks and food etc. I think for a global problem like this, will be solved by rich scientists with pure hearts, because we need science, money and community-based people. That is what I think. And I am aspiring to become a rich scientist with a pure heart 💖☺
