Apparently for HOUSE, she wrote all of these: Be With You Tonight You Don't Have To Worry I Call It Love I Never Saw It Coming Need To Be With You I Found Out I Want The Music Reflections of You
Amazing song. Has the same kind of vibes as Failure - Saturday Savior, but with a 2000’s style. It kills me how songs like this don’t make the mainstream.
When I first heard this song, I searched the internet far and wide only to learn it had never been released on its own. I managed to track down Ms. Wagner’s email and contacted her. She was very, very sweet and sent me a mp3 of it. What a gorgeous voice and awesome lady!
I know this is a long shot but I heard this and thought it was the most hauntingly beautiful mix of Portishead and massive attack if you could send me the MP3 of that I’d really appreciate that!
[Verse 1] Everything will slowly pass by Searching for a place to hide [Chorus] But you don't have to worry You don't have to worry [Verse 2] Everything will slowly unfold And open to another world [Chorus] But you don't have to worry You don't have to worry [Bridge] When you look inside Never know what you might find Inside Inside [Outro] Everything will be all right Everything will be all right Everything will be all right Everything will be all right Everything will be all right Everything will be all right Everything will be all right Everything will be all right Everything will be all right Everything will be all right
This sounds a lot like the band Ivy, even sounds like one of their titles. Miss the early 2000s, this laid back style of alternative rock just seemed to disappear
The trip hop sound only lasted 3 years. I would’ve like to hear more stuff like this that blended shoegaze/alternative rock, but then again, I’d get tired of it. I like a slow drone, but this feels dry sometimes. But that was the time, to tone things done. Tame the sound/loud. It reminds me of a song by the band Failure and then it reminds me of Morcheeba.
Just happened on to your comment from two years ago. I had never heard of “Ivy” so I went to iTunes and so far haven’t found a song of theirs I don’t like! Thanks for turning me onto something new to me! (I’m an old boomer! 😉). Cheers!
I want to thank the person who put all this music together for us all to listen to and move us within. Music has so much to do with what we hold sacred within us called Knowledge...the deeper intelligence that each one of us have been given by the Divine, The Creator of ALL life. Just as music moves us so does Knowledge. If you are stirred and curious about what I am talking about please look into it for yourself. What you will find has everything to do with why you are here living in this world at this time. Blessings! newmessage.org
