Very nice. Wish I could have been there. Could have shared more Von and David stories. I hate it that this is so far out in the middle of nowhere and we can’t visit it very often. Where is David headed next?
Yeah, I'm sorry you couldn't make it, Carolyn couldn't come either. I don't know that I have any other destinations at this time for Dave, I'll have to think about that. I hope you're doing well, and taking care of yourself.
You missed the footage of the drummer puking all over the place and still drumming along like nothing happened. Glad you caught the broken string solo, that was awesome.
To be honest, my eyesight really isn't good enough to have seen some of those details. Whatever I caught was largely by chance. Didn't know about the drummer, that's quite an image in one's mind! 🤦🤣
Thank you. I was impressed by the new talent that was introduced in the concert; Samantha & Jesse really have potential to make it big, and their more mellow, bluesy duet was amazing.
Unfortunately, the income gap has drastically widened in the last 2 or 3 years, so what you're calling low income people are in most cases just hard-working people who can't seem to get a break. I believe the Republicans are more guilty of doing what you are saying than the Democrats are.
@@jennifergriffith I am hard worker too, I work 2nd shift 5 days a week. What breaks are you referring to? Income gaps exist due to one's ability to do a certain job, some jobs pay more and some pay a lot less. It is up to each individual to choose what they want to do and what types of salaries they would like to reach. I chose Technology back in the days and it worked out very well. If someone chose to study philosophy and then work at Starbucks, an income gap will exist. Hate to break it to you, but Joe Biden has ABSOLUTELY nothing to offer you as a citizen. Not economically, and not socially.
@@EJ257IHI Not everyone has the opportunity or the ability to attend schools beyond high school, and the fact is that the minimum wage has not kept up with the rate of inflation. If it had, the national minimum wage would be at least twelve or thirteen dollars, rather than $7.25 or so. Meanwhile, the salaries and bonuses of upper-level executives have skyrocketed to record levels. Regardless of a person's abilities or education level, they should be able to still afford a roof over their heads, food on the table, and heat during the winter. Yet there are people who are working two jobs and still can't afford to pay rent. While Joe Biden may or may not have the answer to this problem, I can guarantee you that the current White House occupant does not - nor does he even care about people in such situations.
".. that's what happened after Charlottesville, that's where we are today. When the President said asked a comment on what happened he said there were very fine people on both sides. [crowd boos] no president, no that's not hyperbole, no president since Andrew Johnson and not even him, engaged in that kind of racial and bigotry and hate, his words matter and smaller moments as well.. " - tired and old Joe Biden =)
Yes, words do matter, and so do actions! The current White House occupant is nothing more than a bully and a bigot - unless you want to include his narcissism with those other undesirable traits. Joe is a good man, he understands that people feel pain because he's been there himself so he has empathy; he cares about people.
@@scotusgate3418 the economy....Covid-19.....Twitter even checks his lies.....and you can't spell. Your even mentioned Andrew Johnson...Impeached just like Trump...wow.
Thank you for posting this. It's nice to be reminded of the lack of substance of feel-good statements that have no meaning. It's nice to be reminded of the lies and fear-tactics that manipulate our citizens into voting for politicians that sell our country - and its people - to the highest bidder. And the pearl-clutching-fragility that put feelings above actual substantive practices. The public really needs to hear these candidates. Need to be reminded of the lack of choice we used to have (because they were all the same on both sides of the isle - no matter who you voted for, you got lies, sell-outs, and thievery). If we do the RESEARCH, watch these wonderful videos, so that we may judge for ourselves what our choices are. Reflect on questions like - are we are better off than we were in 2016; are we happy with our progress; do we want to go back to the previous 8 years of race-bating, can't go to the doctor because the insurance rate tripled, three-jobs to pay a power bill, humiliation in the world's eye? Videos like these help us to make up our mind - Thank you again! (I will share.)
Am I the only that thought they rub their legs together? This one time, I pulled the spiny legs off a dead cricket and tired rubbing them together to see if I could get them to chirp. Lol, it didn't work.
Abrakus Edwards (gasp) How could you do such an evil act? That cricket could have had a wife and kids. It could have been his day he and the wife were going to "get down".
V A P O R Mice i had bedroom placed next to a backyard , if the cricket is kinda far the chirping is ok , but my garden situation were like 10 crickets clusterfuck chirping together right into my ear , now that's annoying
Hi I'm casting season 2 of Homestead Rescue on the Discovery Channel. We're looking for great homesteaders. If you're interested more info or know someone who might be, email me at Katy@metalflowersmedia.com
Thank you, Kari! I was just surprised because I'd always heard that the sound was made by crickets rubbing their hind legs together, but clearly that was wrong...
The speed of the chirping also depends on what species of cricket it is. Shouldn't have been more than 80 degrees, probably closer to 78, but I don't recall for sure.
Not sure why this is so grainy, but it might be because the lens was dirty. I'll be making another video in a few days or so, & will make sure the lens is clean.
Hi Jennifer..How does your garden grow.. You keep your garden all year..wow For some reason I picture dorment gardens during winter months. You know what grows best and when. Your creative and talented Jennifer. Im so glad to know you! Thanks for sharing your garden! Hello to Shiloh..
Thank you, Jan! Depending on how far south the garden is, & how well protected, some things can be grown at various times throughout the year. Lots of people in the south grow greens during the winter, but I don't care for greens at all. I did find out, however, that onions & garlic can also be grown now. As for the strawberries & asparagus, I'm just transplanting them in preparation for next spring & summer. It's all just a long learning process; there's so much to know, & I've only scratched the surface...
