What's up yall, I make content primarily for Ravenfield! Tired of the same old vanilla gameplay? This channel is all about exploring Ravenfield, whether it be through great maps, mods, mutators, or gameplay tweaks. All content on this channel is created by me, and my goal is to provide something new in each video. Like or subscribe if you want to stick around!
Woke up this morning and drove six hours back from Florida and I see another great video, and I'm still crazed how good these videos are for well... a small youtuber, keep it up!
Mmm that’s a good thought. My time is certainly beatable but it’s near the natural limit of the car, so if anyone does anything *too* impressive I’m sure it’ll be noticeable ;)
If it’s operational? I’m not personally familiar with using this mutator but I see some people are having issues. Do you have any insight I can look in to?
The workshop has a decent collection of racing maps. Ravenfield is so obviously not meant for driving that it makes time trials a fun challenge. The car I specifically used has higher speed, higher gravity, and drifting which makes driving kind of decent. Overall I’d say it’s worth checking out. Nothing crazy, but a neat part of ravenfield
Admittedly I did not since testing eats up so much time and I saw nothing significant from normal or easy. I definitely plan on continuing to test this mutator, so thanks for the insight!
@@nolberggg Btw the way your test is wrong because the difficulty actually influences the skill level scaling, having it on easy essentially makes all the bots have the lowest target registration rate. so the lower you push the difficulty, the poorer the bot performs on all ranges, my advice, turn the difficulty to hard, you will see a clear difference in a match level. this also affects how bots use movements such as lean when going around corners. the skill level also affects the rate of bots getting into cover.
@@standly5477 Very interesting stuff. I was curious how difficulty settings interplayed with skill level. I'll definitely have to retry some tests. Really appreciate the information!
Can anyone please 🙏🏻 help me? Its been 3 days since I got ravenfield, I have installed some weapons/hud mods but when I turn on the mutator and play the game the modded hud overlaps with my vanilla hud,how do I remove my vanilla hud😢😢 I have tried 4 different hud mods, but they all have the same problem .Please, if anyone knows about this, please help. Thank you :)
Hm that’s odd, usually a hud mod overrides the vanilla one. What is an example of a mod you tried? Alternatively though, the home and end key removes the score and hud. There’s also the Super Hud Hider mutator, which could help as well. It could also be a recent update in the beta branch if you are using that
@nolberggg thanks I just tried the super hider mod, and it worked.I actually knew about the super hider mod but before it I tried another hud hider mod named enhanced hud hider but it did not work so I thought the super hud hider mod will also not work for some reason But thank you for using some of your precious time to handle my problem🙂🙂🙂🙂🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I am currently testing this mutator myself and I agree with the author: "beginner" is too broken. It can defeat everyone, but under some conditions it may be worse than "normal", but otherwise the mutator works as it should. it would be nice if you conduct another test, but on a more complex map with vehicles (for example, tank pit 2)
Originally, I aimed to test all combinations, but after failing to get visible results I shifted focus to just see if accuracy and reaction time improved. I do regret not checking if "beginner" mode was causing issues, though simply watching “elite” bots fight kinda confirmed my bias. My findings are based on the assumption that if one part of the mutator isn’t working, then whole thing must not work. Trying vehicles next would be logical, but I'm a bit burnt out on the topic right now since testing was so time consuming. It’s great to see other people are also testing this, so let me know if you figure out anything else!
@@nolberggg I'm also glad to see that someone else is disassembling ravenfield in this way. surprisingly, the skills work as in reality here: the lower the skills, the less skillfully the bots control vehicles and the less the technical gap matters. I will never forget the single battle: normal has heavy tanks and airplanes, and elite has machine-gun tanks that can't even fight other tanks, but it turned out that machine-gun tanks using difficult hilly terrain broke into the enemy lines, destroyed infantry, and then the elite infantry finished off the heavy tanks. as a result, 30% of the elite and 0% of the normal survived, and if there were at least veteran vs veteran or other map, then 50% of the army where there are heavy tanks and 0% of mg-tanks army already survives
Dang, i was thinking about getting it after work today because it would make a fun challenge. Thanks for saving my time. I'll keep an eye out in case they fix it
