I'm shocked people don't know what that is. Before we genetically modified bananas we used to have that string with seeds in the bananas. If you are eating a spotted banana you are eating the real thing. Meaning you are eating the healthiest version of a banana. That full yellow banana with nothing inside is fake and has no nutritional value.
Thank you so much for the tip! I have the same model, and I unplugged it for about half an hour, plugged it back in, and it powered on. I guess I'll have to just get used to unplugging it every time I'm done using it. Remember when appliances seemingly lasted forever? I miss that. Thanks again.
i mistook him for dark from orion and the dark, they look nearly identical to me, so when i firsst saw him i screamed ITS DARK FROM ORION and my friend is like no it isnt and im like HUH
I seriously thought they kept him for the next movie or something. Then again, I don't know what Riley could've done to accidentally burn a hole in a rug so who knows, maybe it IS a bug dark secret
You guys that have xracks or is leaking spray your drums with that stuff you see on tv i xant think of the name of it but it seals up anything the guy makes a boat and sprays it ....seal it or something. And for you guys that don't have cracks yet paint the inside with that same stuff, you qont be able to see inside but at least it will be usable. Hope that made since.
@texaschainsawmass yes, you can try. But, it might not be as sticky as the original placement. But, have moved mine around and still sticks fine. (my experience on fiberglass bath/shower)

am I going to have a problem coming on at noon and going off at midnight? I think I read somewhere that is a problem and settings should be on the same day. How long of a photo period and is photo period all the same? Sorry many questions! It would be nice if smat farm had some videos!
I am going to attempt to set up seems kind of hard by all the comments so thank God I dont have corals in yet! I have 2 of these on a very narrow and shallow tank! Its a 20 g long. I have to use 2 because its wide at 30 inches x12x12. What kind of setting do you think I should run? I have no idea since it only 12 deep and front to back plus corals are up higher on a frag rack. all lps and softies. Are there any presets?
Just bought the same Smarfarm 95 watt .. hoping for the durability the video OP got. I bought a Nicrew 150 in Jan2024 and it died a few days ago June 2024. I got 6 entire months. If this SmatFarms last me even a year I’ve beaten the Nicrew but I have seen more then one post of ppl who have ran them a year or two no troubles so I have it a chance 🎉
Went to the comments, tried another method based on what is here and it worked. Unplug. Hold Power and Start Wash buttons at the same time for 10 seconds. Plug back in. Hold power button for up to 10 seconds (mine came on right away).

Try with the shot just cover with water and couple squirt of washing liquid. I often just put one coin in so they don't damage each other. Will come out like new
can I ask how big is your tank? Dosnt look all that big for the level you are setting to! How have your corals been doing? are they growing well? How long do you run them for? Also can you pick night mode at any time to show off tank and not mess up the program its running on if you remember to turn that off? Do they produce a nice shimmer without a disco apperance. Are there any preset programs? I like that some other lights I have also bought have presets that way I dont screw up the spectrum and set it wrong but problem is they wont fit over my rim and they are only 20 watts so I still need to buy 2 more and try to rig a way to make them work or spend a fortune on adapters! Oh and what is the default setting and why would that come on? Is that if it looses the program or something. Does it save setting if you have a power outage or you try to change something? Thats what happened with my other lights. i tried to change and it just lost the who set up so I have been running on Lps mode since because I couldnt remember what it was!
My tank is 66gal. The lights keep the settings when power is lost. You can switch back and forth over to night mode. Corals grow great... if I just wouldnt slack and keep the other parameters up. Shimmer is not disco over powering like some leds.(this also depends on how much surface ripples your pumps/powerheads create.
I found this at a donation store with all it's parts for like almost $5. Seems decent enough and had a charge to it. Was curious about the battery it uses and i opened it up and saw 4AA NI-CD package in series LOL Each cell rated 600MAH. Looked at charge indicator and yup it won't tell you when it is done. It is just a LED connected to indicate when charge power is there. A diode is there to reduce current to charge the Ni-CD cells. If yours is dead i am sure ya can easily buy some Ni-CD or Ni-MH AA cells to replace it with and wire it up. Maybe get some good Rayovac Ni-MH rechargeables which come in 1350MAH!
