Hey, that's a bit of a wide reaching question because I use so many. The major ones are Elvui, DBM, omnicd, weakauras, plater. Anything in particular that you noticed that you want to know about?

Its got a lot to do with experience. For a decent pull you always want to start with a DR ability or two before you even hit the mobs. This will allow you to survive long enough to gain runic power for Death Strike. Never get hit by mobs from the back, that's the tricky part when you're pulling multiple groups together. And don't be shy of pushing your limits if your Purgatory is still available. That will gain you the valuable experience you need to get the feel for what feels comfortable to pull and how. Also TWW pre-patch will make damage smoother, that might help! Good luck out there!

Hey, most of my routes are generally pug friendly and adjust at the highest level where I feel its necessary. Feel free to imitate. The route in this run is a straight, no-skip, no hassle path. As you can see its possible to time with it still on a 15. This is an organized group with everyone in discord though so all the calls are controlled, especially on the last boss totem. As I go into 16 and higher level keys my routes will probably get more intricate or aggressive. Let me know if you have any questions!

Good question. AMS magic damage absorbed generates Runic Power which is a typical BDK approach for generating resources for more DPS in situations where they can outlive it. That boss has almost no killing power on the tank so I go out of my way to DPS. Cheers!

It was a mistake. The tank rarely gets pursued so I forgot to position myself to run in the correct direction. The pug healer we had was a Night Elf. He Shadowmelded so the boss stopped Pursuing but ran after me at full speed which took me by surprise. We were confused for a bit. Hence all the raptors. Cheers

mouse cursor i suggest a weakaura called "Ultimate mouse cursor" as for the names i suggest an addon called plater and customizing it that way

Hey, quite a lot of people have issues seeing the nameplates as WoW's default is fairly basic. You can modify them using Plater Nameplates. The mouse one is Ultimate Mouse Cursor which is a loaded mod for the WeakAuras add-on, found on wago.io . You can download both of them using CurseForge which has most of WoW's add-ons. Cheers!

Hey, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Full guild run so fairly well organised. Still a lot of deaths though. On review I can see where I could pull more. Happy to share my UI, but it's various add-ons, any particular part you had in mind? The main layout is ElvUI and Plater, with WAs thrown in.

Its something you get used to as you play as one or with one regularly. In really high keys I still get the same feeling when I take more than expected incoming damage between global cooldowns. It can be a stressful class to work with for sure

@@Lichmerc I mean everything is good apart from the massive damage meters etc, don’t you find that very off putting? My damage done, and overall interrupts are small at bottom right corner of my screen because we are only human and surely you are sometimes meter watching instead of looking at screen?

@@Lichmercand does that talent overlay show for you or have you put it for us to see build, everything is clean apart from those meters imo even watching the video I was staring at them a lot.

@@Lichmercand not trying to tell you how to play but I feel like the add on that is similar to gladiator LLOS or something that reads out causes a lot of unnecessary. Noise, not trying to tell you how to play but it’s a little jarring and I noticed when I learned to relax in keys my performance boosted so much higher

Do you mean the damage numbers floating up in the air coming from the targets or the Details tables at the bottom of the screen? If its the numbers then I don't really notice them because I am used to it. But, they do have a practical use because then I can see what damage I am doing to periphery targets - this gives me some clue as to what threat I potentially have on all the targets that we are engaged in combat with (blood boil, DnD, etc.) at an (additional) glance. If its the Details tables then I don't look at them at all during combat. In fact I don't really need them per se. They're a nice and neat way of looking at results as somebody else talks to me about the numbers, etc. and for after-run view to see if someone is grossly underperforming (damage, interrupts). The reason I have them at the bottom and not to the side is because of UI visual balance on the screen (left vs right) and having them along the bottom keeps that mental balance (everything above my HP bar is mostly important info for the combat itself although I do look at CDs more than I would like, but I have not figured out a perfect solution for this yet. I would say it is a personal preference. I've seen players with around 20 of those tables stacked on screen at the same time and some that track erroneous information.

Thanks. It's a custom one I made myself. Works for Consecrate as well, with the appropriate changes. Hard to see the visual in the ground most of the time, the WA really helps

Glad you like it. It's a keep-going route, without wasting time going back. Tried it early in the season but people kept dying, now that they know the dungeon better its a bit more reliable. Need a priest for the early skip - MS and walk past. If can't skip then pull but skip something later. Very hard dungeon to route but I think I'll stick to this one from now on. Changes between fortified and tyrannical of course. Cheers

Glad you liked it. I've timed this dungeon on a 24 with a straight run, without these fancy tricks, so it is not mandatory. However, at higher level keys it does become necessary because less pulls = more efficient run. I tested the route in a 17 and the priest was hesitant to try it but then thanked me afterwards for showing him how its done. He's probably doing 30s now :D

Hey mate, glad you're enjoying the videos. The purple WA is my Death and Decay. It lets me keep track of when its about to expire and if I'm still standing in it to make full use of the benefits it provides. The visual display on the ground can be blocked by other effects so the WA is really nice. It also confirms I'm standing in the correct one when grouped with other DKs. The white foreground with purple background seems to work best in both dark and light environments. The blue line across is icebound Fortitude, yellow is Dancing Rune Weapon, green is Lichborne and red is Vampiric Blood. I normally kind of look past these as I am focused on the action around me but I can change my focus to see the active buff duration without an extra icon or having to look to the side. Its probably a bit jarring to the viewer but doesn't really block my view all that much. Good question, keep'em coming!

@@Lichmerc Ah nice! I personally find text WAs work better, I get blind to visual non-text queues too easily. So I have a DROP D&D one which I notice more often than not xD Thanks for explaining the other parts of your WA setup as well! Your videos are realy inspiring, and help with my own routing (I'm working on 16s+ at 2200ish rating atm).

Hey, that's the Plater add-on but the profile is my own manual creation for tanking purposes. Simple, easy to use and click box to the exact size of the HP bar. All the colours also manual to how I like to see threat levels

I struggled somewhat on the other tanks with that mechanic after getting used to it on the BDK. Certainly makes that particular fight easier to deal with. Thanks for the sub!

Hey thanks for the kind words. The first trick is to run Abom limb before the key starts so you have full boneshield at the start of the dungeon. It resets when the key starts so you can pop it when you feel like it. DRW+Vampiric Blood will usually allow you to live no problem. Then its Lichborne or IBF if the pack is still alive. I pop purgatory on the first pull pretty often so its almost an expectation. Its a talent that feels like a waste if you're not pushing yourself and triggering it. General rule is if you have purgatory available you can risk a tough/larger pull

i guess i'm used to it. there's some stuff that shows up right in the middle with a level of transparency. when i dont need it i look past/through it. when i want to focus on it its there. not a fan of icons with small numbers and stuff to the side as it takes my focus away from the combat. DK is a very precision oriented tank, can't take your eyes off the important stuff even for a fraction of the time. plus i dont like small indicators as it strains the eyes, makes you squint, and a good way to go blind quickly. happy to hear some suggestions if you got some, my UI evolves all the time, hopefully for the better
