Thank you so much for this explanation video! I’m Brazilian based in Portugal and we don’t have a term for a celebration like this but I’m in love with the concept because me and my husband just moved in to the terrace we own and we want to invite friends to know the new house. I’ll host a housewarming party soon 🎉
I don’t usually have a potty mouth. When I was in labor with my 3rd child (yes I only did this the 3rd time. The epidural didn’t work so I felt everything) Every contraction: “Gaaaah FUUUUUCK” followed by a polite “sorry , pardon my French” The nurses were giggling all night 😅
This is absolutely embarrassing. I mean not that you don’t know what to call them because that’s how I ended up here. Looking for the answer but honestly my cousins were my first friends. Now they are some of my best friends. I’m close to all of them because I love my cousins and therefore their children. I can’t believe you laughed about not interacting with or even knowing their names. I know all families are different but damn dude.
Ohh Gosh I really search at RU-vid when I hear it from my son..I really feel disappointed when my son 9 years old told me my hair is like a Karen,he said mama you're Karen 😅😅😅 I been wondering who is that Karen he is talking about,I'm just telling him only to go to sleep because he need rest.
indians and pakistanis sound extremely cringe when they talk like that. most foreign accents are slightly amusing at best or confusing at worst but when looking at the indian accent you get these strong hints of arrogance or hubris in it. annoying af....
to be fair, the "no, i do"/"yes, i dont" were actually the correct ones that were taught in english classes as a non-native english speakers. it's bc of how the question is worded: "don't you like sushi?" (do you not like sushi?) so the question assumed that you dont like sushi, so the answer is "no (you're wrong to assume i do not like sushi), i do (like sushi)." it was a pretty big deal as tricky question on english tests for non-native english learners, but it was confusing and no one used it irl anyway lol
I hate you so much for being in my English work I really don't want to listen to you right now but because of this terrible video, my teacher decided to put you into my summer school class and I Really hope this video gets taken down.
This is just my opinion but another reason Scandinavian and other Germanic speakers are usually good at English is that I'd say there's a core of certain everyday words that are used for the most basic communication and sound familiar enough to understand very easily, of course the context helps, it's like starting to learn a language with a varying level of comprehension pre installed, if you can look me in the eye and tell me you can't mostly understand a germanic person counting, then sir, i point my buttocks at you in a most insulting manner, and proceed to break wind while laughing derisively at your ingnorance! 🧐🎉
Huh? Video 1 wasn’t even a Karen. It’s just some guys wouldn’t stop setting fire crackers off on HER property. It’s a video of a poor woman who has had it with these jerks being obnoxious. I probably would have had a similar reaction or called the cops. A better example of a Karen would be a woman having a melt down like this in a public place like a park or a beach. Poor lady was probably overtired and trying to sleep 😞 2nd video is more Karen than the first. I don’t know why you’re saying it’s toned down. She was in a public place having a melt down. Total Karen.
