I decided to do something like this except I mixed two ai art peices (well I'm not sure if one of them was ai art. Couldn't find anything wrong with it nor a @) to make a charecter and I really like it!
Apparently some AI have started taking other AI pictures as their reference and I couldn't be happier that the people who rely on AI to make "art" are basically making their programs worse
I have photoshop, the probably most expensive and most complete art program you can find, and yet I still use firealpaca. Sometimes you click better with some programs than others.
AMAZING! omg i love all of them you've inspired me to pick up my pen and draw after artblock struck me again 🥲 Keep up with your amazing job! <3 (new sub :3)
I remember trying to "copy" or have an anime art style design but I hated drawing so many small details and well anatomy so I went back to simple and somewhat blocked and was happy I know it is simple but sometimes the simple thing is better :3 I luv ur still it makes see that you don't have to draw to complex just have fun :3
Your art is so good! I'm a little late to the video, but I'd definitely like to comment and say good job for finding something you now like (dark settings)! It's always good to practice new things and find different bits you love about it and adopt it into your own style to make it more *you* as art, if it is not your style or what you like, will not be enjoyed! I hope to see more of the dark settings, it looked like you had fun! (Personal suggestion, you should definitely give wizard boy and dragon boy a backstory and adopt the characters as your ownnn >:3)
Just stumbled upon this video and I love your energy so much! Your excitement made me smile through the whole video and I wish more artists managed to adopt your attitude towards your own work!
Personally, I hate AI art, but I’ve never actually seen it. I love art, so I don’t really care about it, but to anyone that does it, you suck, pick up a pencil.
Most ai image generators users aren’t artists and don’t really care about the process, only the result, and they don’t took to closely at them given that one of them won a competition
i understand the arguement that "redrawing" ai is also not good considering ai steals from actual art but come on... ai combines art around them and while yes sometimes it can be so obvious you can compare, artist themselves take things they like about other artists and incoperate it into their style, and while its weird and wrong for ai companies to steal and use art to train their model, its different than an artist taking inspiration from another artist. so in reality, redrawing jumbled up ai trash is also just fine honestly. i know what people mean, but ai images arent the problems but rather the companies creating the models by stealing real art. so taking heavy inspiration from ai is no different than taking light inspiration from another artist if you get what I mean.
That's a really good point! I understand what you mean, especially about the main problem being the companies, which affects the artists😢 thank you for your comment!
Pinterest is just a place for artists to grab AI stuff to redo now. I don't have an issue with AI itself, It's more that I have an issue with how people use it, instead of doing what you did in the video, people are just being lazy, trying to pass off AI images as the "finished product" when there are clear issues with detail, anatomy, composition, etc. If people just did what you do instead, I feel like most people would be ok with AI existing as a tool for artists to work with, rather than against. People who post AI version of artist's work under the artist's post are disgraceful and should be shamed for it, I don't care how bad of an artist someone is, if you decide to make something, you're still far better than any of the AI bros trying to mock artists for sticking to their passion. I think making AI free of copyright is the right way to do things, no one deserves to get paid for work they didn't do, and making AI work free for everyone to take and use as they see fit would be the most healthy way of addressing at least a major part of the issue in my opinion.
There are numbers of ways such as checking hands, clothes (example, like how some accessories or parts of the clothing pass through a part of the body or another part of the clothing), and inconsistencies in the quality of the art. There's more ways so I suggest researching deeper into it!
another way is to look closely at the jewelry (if there is any). ai jewelry always looks tangled, confused, or it just doesn't make sense. thats the one thing that i find easiest to identify
