If they are using this as an experiment and given enough feedback I could see Halo studios deciding to add this to story modes across all Halo games it would be such a cool new experience without needing mods.
Kind of a weird controversial not controversial opinion that has really nothing to do with this video but I want the armor hall to come back, "Which is the controversial part", but I just want it to be for essentially a wardrobe of armors you can customize for different moods that are all the same core with the same customizables, but you can set up the different slots to be different styles of armor, like one could be an odst or one could be for Halloween or one could be... You get the idea, instead of the armor hall it would just be the ability to have multiple of the same armor but with different looks for different occasions.
Sure, especially when it’s being integrated with a switch-mode. Switching between ego and third person whenever you like with only one button. Just like the switch-mode between old and new graphics
Customizing and appreciating your Spartan allows you to create a unique identity in the game. When you feel a connection to your Spartan, it amplifies that badass feeling during gameplay
Better or worse for halo than functioning netcode/servers? 🤣🤣🤣 it’s basically pointless. There’s like 5 weird kids who will care about 3rd person, nobody else does. 3rd person isn’t going to bring in new players either. Weird faded take.
The Halo Infinite netcode/servers are in a league of it's own 🤣(and I don't think it's ever getting fixed) I don't get the "5 weird kids who will care about 3rd person" brother I've seen hella people care and I have heard people who haven't played this game in a fat minutre excited to try out the mode. This feature is literally just changing your Spartans camera angle, I don't get the hostility behind something harmless, like If you don't wanna use it, don't fucking use it. Weird faded hate.
Same, but then again I get it. They're prob not throwing any crazy resources into this, especially with the announcement of Halo Studios and Unreal. I will be optimistic in saying this is a fun little feature they're adding, so im excited to try it when it launches!
@@LordMdama oh yeah I am too, I stop spending money on this game cause I’m thinking “I don’t even get to see my armor except when I’m dead” but I guess Halo tryna run my pockets again 😮💨
3rd person in halo is like load outs, it's an awesome addition for firefight and for custom games like in Reach, but shouldn't replace the main way to play like halo 4. Halo was almost a 3rd person shooter so honestly I'd be curious how they could apply it to a specific game mode especially in more open map types like (not to bring up fortnite) a battle royale or a new version of Halo 5's warzone. I do prefer the immersion of being in 1st person for campaign odst, reach and infinte all played with the pov in cutscenes and in the UI too and I can't imagine 343 guilty spark or flood levels being as scary in 3rd person, but having another option is never bad. Also I loved playing battlefront 2 back in the day and that had 1st/3rd person toggle including 1st person for vehicles which could also be a fun in halo
I used to love the 3rd person visuals in halo when you grab turret guns. it definitely works. Though the idea of feeling like MasterChef with the first person perspective was a great touch. If they plan a non MasterChef 117 game, then I wouldn't mind it
I would love a toggle like in Battlefront games, or Serious Sam, hell even modded halo has 3rd person. I get it , for pvp maybe let it locked to one or the other. But custom games, let's have a blast , 3rd person, playable elites, etcc......
I'm gonna throw this out there; third person or not, if people wanted to play halo they would've. Third person vs first person doesn't change much aside from immersion in a game, but I highly doubt that adding a new perspective for Halo will change much if anything at all in terms of player count. Edit: Also third person makes peeking unnecessary, which completely tanks the snipers game. How the hell is anyone going to get any kills if you're just playing whack-a-mole behind cover? It also makes camping with a shotgun so much worse, because now you can't even try to sneak; the camper will just look around the corner without ever revealing themselves. third person breaks many multiplayer strategies and it's quite frankly annoying and disappointing.
All very valid points but with this mode being in Casual Multiplayer I don't really see this happening haha (but then again you can always use your radar + nades to flush a camper out)
The one problem is getting corner peeked from 3rd person camera, because Im going to stay first person, it's what Im good at. Use it if you want, I just don't like 3rd person sandboxes as much.
3rd person sucks. It ruins the idea of me being a spartan or a person inside of the video game. If I could see the Character doesn't feel like it's me. Instead, i'm just playing a character. first person makes me feel like i'm actually playing as the character. I see what he sees, and I feel like i'm actually there inside the world. 3rd person does not give me vibes of being in that world and being the Character.
Extremely valid point, which is why you should just stick to the regular FPS modes! I'm not advocating for the next Halo game to be in Third Person. I'm just saying it's awesome to have the ability to set our own matches in custom games to third person, or better yet an exclusive third person mode (for the people who do wan't to play it)
I think it's no coincidence that this is coming out close to the same time Hell Jumpers (Halo version of Hell Divers 2 in forge) is dropping. If they manage to deliver that same level of intensity in a forge mode I think it could be very popular.
3rd person would definitely be a great addition to Halo, I never understood why spartan customization was pushed so hard when you don't even get to see yourself (unless you die or watch in theater mode)
@@LordMdama you make a good point though. I remember loving the classic battlefront games because you could switch between 1st and 3rd person in game. That was cool
