The Dessert Bullet is an amazing product. It turns frozen fruit into delicious desserts that tastes like our favorite ice cream & desserts from the store, but without the added sugar, fat, or calories.
Bananas are NOT a high source of potassium. Beans and green leafy are, by far. Accordind to Dr. Michael Greger, fast food vanilla milkshakes have more potassium than bananas. Where did this myth even come from??
Syrups and Sugar are unhealthy but this is the same type 2 diabetes, but home made. if you want to blend something healthy, use vegetables, not fruit. not even a banana to make it sweet. you might as well add sugar.
the dessert bullet is diabetes: if you blend the food, its like adding sugar as it directly goes to your bloodstream. its like a eating 3 times as much sugar and not being full. this thing does exactly the opposite of what it says it does. if you want to eat healthy, eat the fruit whole. with your teeth.
you are an IDIOT! the machine chews up the food just the way your teeth do! where do you think the fiber goes, moron? This is NOT juicing! Jesus, get off the net. And if you want to avoid diabetes, stop eating so much fat - it interferes with the insulin receptors of the cells.
the problem i have is that in the infomercials they make it out that diabetes is caused by being over weight and eating too much sugar but it's not. Diabetes is a genetic disease people can be stick thin and eat healthy but still have it. this product is good for people you can't have milk or who like sorbet but really you shouldn't put something in an informational that has to do with an incurable disease, it's insensitive and ignorant.
it's not caused by sugar. eating alot of sugar and being over weight can increase your risk, yes. Type 2 is when you don't make enough insulin or your cells become resistant. Type 1 however is when the immune system attacks the cells in the pancreas that make insulin. what causes type 1 is thought to be combination of the genes and an environmental trigger that causes the genes to become active what causes type 2 has to do with genes as well you are born with genes that make you susceptible to it, and poor life choices can (but not always) make you more likely to get it. But the same thing can be said about some cancers too.
DBZ1FAN1GIRL I just did some research and you are correct. Genetics are the cause of both type one and two, with two also being caused by poor lifestyle choices, not just sugar. That's also true about cancers.
sorry if i sounded a bit preachy, i know people who have type 2, and people talk like when you have diabetes you brought it all on themselves, and it's hurtful to people who have it. It also puts a stigma on type 1 because not a lot of people know the difference.
DBZ1FAN1GIRL No I know the difference between type one and two. One cannot be prevented and is hereditary and two can be prevented to an extent with a proper lifestyle but still could be developed from genetic factors. I also know someone who has type two diabetes but always assumed it was from sugar intake, since that's what I've heard. However, I read up on it after your comment and it's not only sugar intake, which is good to know. You didn't sound preachy to me, but were instead supplying facts and knowledge which I always welcome, so thank you.
Well, I stopped watching after 45 secondes, this is pure bullshit. Serotonin is not a "feel good" neurotransmitter, it helps the humor regulation, it's quite different. Amino acids don't produce neurotransmitters, they produce proteins. Please don't fool anyone here. Antioxidant has nothing to do with the humor, but it can helps preventing cancer. Berries contains way more antioxidant than cocoa. Ughhhhh this is pissing me off.
how is it good the the kids don't know it's good for them. Wrong idea. Kids need to know that food that is good for them can taste good too, so they will know how to make good health choices when they grow up. As adults it's your job to show them healthy foods and show them that it can taste great too. I'm really tired of hearing parents say "the kids don't know that it's good for them". SUPER WRONG mindset parents.
maybe try to experiment with a little amount of greens? For a "smoother" green color make a banana-based green smoothie with a few Drops of peppermint oil, freeze it in an ice cube tray and later put the ice cubes through the dessert bullet and then sprinkle chocolate chips on top....
