The show you where they want it. There will be a cutting plan line with arrows and usually letters at the arrows. It'll say produce a sectional along the cutting plan AA. A on one side of the cutting plane and A on the other side of the cutting plane. That's just how it's denoted. The arrow points in the direction of how they want to see the sectional. If its pointing to the left it wants to see everything from windows, railing etc on the left of the building. Vise versa
