this is exactly how i trained my half lab half border collie to play fetch, come, stay, give, drop it and eventually i connected everything and taught him to play Frisbee. And so with frisbee you need use all these commands and i also attacked two 20 foot leads together to get a 40 foot lead because i train dogs in the city and dogs here must always be leashed. 40 foot lead was enough to let the lead drag on the ground and be able to step on it to gain control over him while playing frisbee LOL yeah i kinda cheated the law a bit but every day after work i would train him on a patch of land between an condo apartment building and the road and we had lots of people watch us go through our daily training exercises and the reward was playing 30 mins of Frisbee and of course a little tug when he returned with it. Long line training leashes are a must use especially with young collies because they have so much energy, in fact all working dogs benefit from this type of training. Great video, thanks.
