after long time I got it to work. The first created custom blog page remains unchanged. The template is set to current querry and while published set to "All Archives". Now the setting apply magically to the custom blog page from the first step. But now the design of the template is applyd to the default post page of wordpress. So with this tutorial I change the layout of the default wordpress post page. AHAA... It is realy frustration. So many tricks and hacks and hours to watch tutorials and after long time finding out the huge side effects on my own after all at the end. Would it not be sensible to mention what we are doing here right at the beginning of the tutorial.

You created a template and then switched back to the blockpage. There seems a gap for me. I assume you added the archive- template to the blogpage- is this correct?
