Hello, its easy to remove the fuel Filter without remove the headlight. On the right Backside of the fuel Filter ist a little metalclamp. This clamp Must Push to the Fender, and you can remove the Filter by pushing the Filter Up. Sorry for my english
Yes it's slightly harder to remove the fuel filter with the headlight in, yes filter lifts up a bit and comes off the fixed meter inner wing bracket, hope this helps.
Hi, great helpful video. I've just purchased an ex red cross ambulance, lifted the panel but alas no cruise sockets... but lots of wires that have just been cut off and left... I've been trying to pause your video to see if I can match wire colours... lol, it seemed like a good idea at the time...
its a shame that you dont film the fitting and alterations of the cup holder instead of filming when job done, noticed you did this with the steering wheel change as well, shame

After completely emptying the gearbox, find the filler/level plastic wing nut looking thing in the side of the box, remove it and pour oil in 2.7 litres exactly or until it runs back of the hole then put the bolt back in.👍🏻
Same here 13 plate master , water under the felt inside roof. I had no idea there were rubber bungs on the roof !!! That perish obviously and allow water in. Who designed that ?? Hope it is cheap enough to fix .
Socket with long extension bar resting on the ground under bumper then quickly turn key to turn engine over for a second or two and the nut will undo easily.👍🏻

You're not wrong; the lights really make the front lok good. I've been wanting to do front fog lights for a while as we get some pretty thick fog/sea-mist in Cornwall. Ypur bumper is looking nice too (colour). I've yet to install my relays and fuse boxes for the additional electrics that I want to run. Funnily enough I bought a replacement ligt stalk as mine is getting worn; it wasn't the one with the front feature though 😢
You need adapters that are glued on from behind the bumper, if you look up my Facebook group called Renault Master repair/maintain & convert, Rachael the other admin on there makes the adapters on her 3d printer and can post them out to you, think they are about £40.👍🏻
Hi. I have a 2006 Master Automatic Motorhome. The engine stop warning light is flashing continuously. I have had it looked at by three different businesses; two said a faulty ECU, the last said genuine faults, but couldn’t find the codes and he tested it for three hours. It’s only done just over 30,000 miles and runs well, apart from greyish smoke for the first 5 minutes after starting. I haven’t got a clue what to try next , so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Tony

I have a wider gap on top right of the door than the left meaning when you shut the door it hits the top of the passenger door. Any ideas how thats put right ? thanks, Tony
Another great video 👍 it's worth adding that the sockets the door locating pins go into will be worn if the door has dropped. You can adjust these upward very slightly to allow for drop. If replacing the middle rollers use a jack to hold the door at the right height if you've no one around to help.
The rail is very hard to get ahold of! I had to buy one ripoff merchant on ebay for £250. I managed to find a second from a local scrap yard for £20! My side door isn't locking normally so I will try cleaning the pins, inspecting the connection points. Didn't know about the button the alarm does seem to go off at random. One note a mechanic told me to never put oil based grease on these types of rails. As the rollers are rubber, you should use dry silicone based lubricant.
Wish I had found this video sooner. I have all issues you mentioned! Jack points front completely rusted. Could put a fist in it after poking it with a screwdriver. Left side under panel, water got in and also rusted Also had an issue with the leaf spring holders in the back, they were also completely rusted and 1 side had a big hole in it. When they took them off for replacement, also a piece of the frame was rusted and got a hole in it. Could only get them as original parts at 120 euros each! Rear door actuator stopped working. Haven't looked at it yet. Headlights faded/foggy -> polishing cleaned them up nicely. Rear calipers replaced, one binded, the other was also gone pretty quickly. Squeaky multi-band. The rollers are super expensive original at Renault, so they replace the bearings which makes it good enough for now. My airbag also gives an intermittent warning. Sometimes it goes away, but usually comes back in 10-15 minutes. Haven't looked at a solution yet. Also the combined light: glow plugs and that wavy pattern will be on after a cold start, but after getting up to temp and restarting it's gone. They measured the glow plugs but said they are fine. No engine error reading the OBD port. I also had some trouble having a spare key made. 2 guys couldn't figure it out, even though the key was read correctly, and only the 3rd guy fixed it by putting the key code directly into the EEPROM. Ventilation panel light bulb blown as you have shown. Heater resistor problem: setting 2 of the ventilation no longer working. There seems to be an issue also the the wheel levers: I had a problem on the light switch, the light would just go off sometimes. Also the indicator to the left didn't work all the time. The other one for the windshield wipers is particularly prone to have the interval setting to break. I've seen this on a couple of vans. Luckily replacing both levers is doable in 1 hour, and they are only about 30 euros each (if you buy fake brand) Gearbox bearings worn after 300k, still a bit notchy after revision but will work for another couple 100k I guess. If you hear a rattling at low revs: around 1500-1800 they are worn. Don't buy or expect a 1500 euros or more repair. Clutch was obviously also worn, you can recognize it's when you have to give a lot of gas for it to grab on and it will stutter. I also had an issue where the bearing on the right drive shaft was worn. There is a blocking plate the holds it in place (20 euros original), but one bolt came out, and the drive shaft was grinding down that plate and had a lot of flex. Obviously the seating on the drivers side will wear, if it's not leather, from getting in and out all the time. You can get a replacement cushion on amazon for about 50 euros. It seems also the rubber seals around the front doors are not so great, so replace them if you see them wear at the bottom. The plastic steps at the cabin are also common to wear down and get holes in them. You can only find them second hand as far as I know and usually 50-70 euros. Also don't forget to look under them. If the rubbers are worn water will pile up under them and it will also start rusting there. I believe the alternator is also only 75A, so be careful when fitting a DC-DC charger for your house battery. It might ask too much of it.
What is the oil flow'er? Thought most gearbox just bathe their gears in the oil. Mines an ex ambulance with 300k on it. I bought it from the same company that owned it since new, point being when i changed my gearbox oil i checked the level first and it was flush with the fill plug, i just did the same and filled it back up to the fill plug. It probably took around 2.7-2.8l
Yeah on the video I should have said oil flinger not thrower, but same thing really, as it spins It flings oil up to lube the 6th gear beari gs, and you are right the 6speed box should trickle out the filler with 2.7 litres exactly, older 5speed box's need a special dipstick as the level sits just below the filler hole.👍🏻
