Andrew, what a great accomplishment as an only 13 years old! The music is so beautiful which makes me want to visit Norway. Your performance definitely inspires many many many young pianists in RTP. Congratulation to you and your family!
Great interpretation, I'm playing that for a recital in just over a week, and I really need to work on it. One of the better recordings of it on RU-vid.
it was a marvelous performance, and to all those people who are clearly "hating" on this boy's playing, seriously get a life, i bet a million dollars that if you had only heard the audio of this clip without knowing the pianist age/sex/race/etc, you wouldn't be making such ridiculous remarks. To the pianist: keep it up and keep showing these nobodies how talented you are.
This is a piece I enjoy playing a lot. I'm actually going to be performing this with a partner at a concert. I'll be ending the performance. Nicely done!
My cousin said I am too narrow minded what music is,so I shall experience other instruments as well. I thought of Paganini being a good start. I wont argue with you. You are right. But it is only common sense not to jump into the wide deep ocean while you cant swim properly. This is only a reply to your hot tempered phrases. Thou it seems, it has become a Trend to play Master pieces at the early phase of a teenager,in the USA. That is the main reason I cannot enlight you on this matter.
