How does it look after getting heated and used? Did those wrinkles come.out? Would love to see a photo. Would not do this myself if the end result didnt smooth out

Does anyone know where to find the pyro fuse of an w117 A180 facelift 2024? Some say its behind the Dashboard but can’t find official documents backing it. And don’t really look forward to take off the whole Dashboard to find out it’s placed somewhere else
@@itszhype9854 Thanks for reaching out, normally the Pyro fuse is directly on that battery to disable full power to the vehicle in an event of a crash. I would recomend reaching out to your local MB dealer to confirm location they should be able to narrow it down for you. Thanks for excellent review. Please show how to hook up eyelets / charger with battery in vehicle? I bought the M-10 eyelet accessories and found the NOCO instructions confusing with positive grounded / negative grounded vehicles and eyelet terminal connector. Does only one eyelet get connected to the battery and the other one to the vehicle? How? I store my 1995 Jag XJS for the winter with battery in vehicle. Please help explain this. Thank you!
Can i use a portable power station Anker C1000 to charge my car battery via noco5? Its a 2016 plate and i get regular battery warnings when i forget to switch off the dashcam plugged into the obd port.

That’s wrong. That’s how you go into 6v mode. Force start is the following. Without the clips connected to the battery posts , plug the charger into the outlet. When it’s powered up and in the standby mode. Press and hold the mode button down for 7 seconds or until “all” lights flash. Then connect positive clip to the positive battery post first then put the negative clip on the negative battery post. Charging lights will be going from red to green for 5 mins then it will stop and go back to standby mode. Press the mode button to correct battery and it will start charging.
Just read my instruction book and you are wrong on several fronts. The battery and all connections are to be made before plugging into the wall. Force mode is just holding the mode button for 5 seconds then selecting the regular charging mode, and there is no mention of a 6v mode at all. The six modes are Standby, 12V, 12V AGM, 12V LITHIUM, 12V REPAIR, and Force Mode.
@@Creativesolution5and I’m this video you can clearly see the 6v light up and then he picks the right battery. With that setting it’s only gonna charge it to 6v not 12v I know what I’m doing.
Thanks for reaching out, that is a great question but sadly I don't have a great answer. Basically they are two types of oil specs, the 229.52 would be the newest oil spec approved for the vehicle and would supersede the 229.51. Both oils are still okay to use so no concern there. This has been confirmed with my local service department at the dealership. 5w40 is in my opinion the best oil viscosity for these engines. Definitely helped before just going in and potentially man forcing something to a breaking point. Now who came out with that stupid design is beyond me. They really make it harder and harder with the new models. Same with sticking the oil filter between the engine and the firewall and the stupid plastic panel to get to the oil drain plug. Talk about going out of one's way to make it harder. my 2003 CLK and my wifes previous 2012 E350 was a piece of cake to work on compared to this.
You are 100% right, same as the battery removal on the car is craziness compared to any other mercedes I ever dealt with. Oil filter way down low in the back like you mentioned. Not fun haha. Good video 👍. I just got the noco genius 1 for my motorcycle battery. The noco was highly ranked (according to a quick-ish google search). And was also highly rated on Amazon. But their included instructions were lacking. Yes it is a simple device, but I want to know what the symbols mean. (Maybe the instructions pamphlet was accidentally not included in the box 🤷♂️.) Anyways, you video filled in all the gaps. Thank you.

thanks for the review. just picked one up today at Canadian Tire for my car. I found the print for the instructions much too small to read. My eyesight is not what it used to be. For some reason my car battery is draining which my mechanic is unable to figure out even though its only 21/2 weeks old new battery. Alternator is fine and checked over. My mechanic recommended a battery maintainer to keep it topped up over night. . Thanks again for your review.

Nicely done. I have a 2016 E400 and thinking about replacing both front and rear rotors and pads with Brembo setup. Mercedes recommends replacing caliper retaining bolts. Excellent video very helpful. 👍
Too much information for me. I just wanted to know how to charge a dead battery on my car. Also I had to put the speed on 2 to get past all the details. Gee whiz

I am a 77 year old woman who is not mechanically very inclined. I bought this for my lawnmower battery which is dying every winter. After the battery was reinstalled and all components back as they should I was able to start the car using the key, pressing the brake pedal and pressing the start button as usual. That's a great point I never had to chance to full test performance handling or pushing the car in this episode. They are significantly heavier then Tesla for example so I'm sure performance handling would suffer quite a bit and straight line speed. But for daily driving for most people would never notice the difference. I hope to get my hands on a polestar to properly do some road testing and have more seat time in one to be able to discover any potential downsides like you mentioned! That is certainly no silly question! In today's vehicles it can be difficult to know what type you may have. If your battery is easily accessible it should say on the side and top of the battery. Either AGM / lead acid/ lithium. If the battery is not easily visible another option if you know the battery is original or was replaced with original you could search your make and model on Google or give the dealership a call to find out what kind of battery was factory equiped. Most newer vehicles are running an AGM battery due to the higher volume of electronics but is always better to know for sure to not cause any damage while using the charger. I looked at the battery labels and I am still no wiser. There is nothing on the labels that says what kind of battery it is. If I could send you a pic of the battery woucald you be able to tell? The other question is,. i don't have a socket set so I cannot get down to the nut that holds the battery down - frustrating. Could I charge the battery with this Noco Genius 1 that i bought without taking it out of the car? Is it safe to do so? Would I need to undo the terminals first or can I just clip on the clips somehow? There are a couple of other things that are connected to the battery that I cannot work out how to take of. Its complicated - I would have thought it would have been really simple. Is there somewhere I can send you the picture of the battery and you could advise me?

I'm having problems with mine. I have to press and hold to get it to light up the modes and then it ends up being in force mode. It chase for 5 minutes and then goes back to standby. I'm so frustrated.
I appreciate you reaching out with your experience and sorry to hear the issues you are having. I have had good luck with mine over the years but have had many people mention of different issues. Seems to be more people having issues. I would highly suggest reaching out to NOCO support to see what they can do for you and hopefully will be able to replace the unit for anew one if there is a problem with it. pretty sure i have a defective charger because ive never seen green yet and i let my agm 12v battery go up into 13volts and the green light still never comes on its always red the battery is 2 months old so there nothing wrong with it i just think the charger is jank
Thanks for sharing your experience. How long did you let the charger sit for plugged into the battery? 1amp charger will take over 60 hours to charge a full size 80amp hour battery. It is possible you have a defective unit. I would suggest to reach out to Noco support for a replacement unit if you do believe there are problems. Please keep me posted how it goes! If you can find the replacement parts it should be a very similar process. Mercedes uses the same style design for them. I wish I had access to a CLA I would make a video for you but the way it all clicks into the bumper would be very similar.

You can safely connect the clamps to the battery while it is stil connected to the vehicle.
