This song suprisingly hits me and makes me think of my mom's perspective of my siblings and I. We all go through phases, growths and failures, even changing how we act and behave but in our parent's eyes we're still that same child they cared for. In moments of silence it makes me think and pray that hopefully, more than any success I can achieve, I can make my mom/dad proud and happy of the person I become in life. And in turn, I do hope to set a good example if I ever have a family of my own. This song's probably one of the reasons why even at 30, I would still hug my mom like I'm five and I don't feel ashamed of it. They deserve that love because without question they can and have already given so much of themselves for us ❤ PS. No one's made a mistake of dating me though. Bummer. 😅
