Had the pleasure of seeing the Peeps farewell gig at The Forum a few years back. Only discovered them 2 days before, hearing Mr Lester Moore on the radio (after Bat Piss’ Weatherboard Man, who supported them at said gig) the 2 songs blew me away and I thought “who the fuck are these guys!!” Then the dj announced the gig, fucking sold! Crammed in a few listens to Joy and The Peep Tempel albums. Only heard Carol and Big Fish for the first time at the gig. Seeing the crowd go off was nuts. Fan for life. Shame there might be no more from them.
