This channel will be me doing my everyday job. By me showing any tips I can to help you to see how I do things may help you or not but I want this channel to be for anyone who believes in a better way to speak out and offer there way.
I'm glad you agree I think painters need a bit appreciation in the trade and given a bit of confidence to people. happy you enjoyed the content I do love a rant. 😁
Yea apologise for that was just starting out with videos.😀 Glad you enjoyed the content hopefully you find the newer one better audio.thanks for the comment 👍
@@ThePaintersCore of the newer videos I've watched all great! Keep up the good work! I'm sure you have a lot going on and dependant on your work policy, but hopefully you might be able to share some of the prep, I appreciate some of it can boring like just sanding etc, but the masking would be interesting to see as well removal of masking. Or even if you have the chance to show how to rectify mistakes when then happen :)
Thats great to hear that you enjoyed the content .The channel is still new I started it mid February so I growing well.hope you continue to like the channel. 👍
Great thank you for subscribing and Yea really like this gun I was a devilbiss man but I think I prefer sata. I didn't use colour blend on this one I tend to use on lighter and biker cars.the scheme I use is standox standoblue which is a waterbase paint.do you paint yourself?
Hi mate, loving your vids👍.do you use a slow hardner for clear most of the time..what sort of temperature do you set the booth at?I’ve got a sata 5500 1.2i rp and sprays great I just find on the blend panels if I don’t apply a blender my clear goes super wet where there’s no base if that makes sense..any ideas on that for a fix? Sorry for all the questions I just strive to get things right and have more knowledge..cheers👍
Hi mate really appreciate the comment and glad your enjoying the content.the hardner I use is a slow hardner and the lacquer is an air dry clear.the temperature when im spraying is 20 degrees unless its bloody hot then you can't change and I bake for 20mins at 60 degree and just let it cool down for hour.outside the oven. I do understand what you meant about the clear being to wet it could be where you do the colour blend its like basecoat so the clear can grip but if none there the clear isn't gripping.i think.😃maybe try a medium coat and not ad wet may work.hopes this helps and love the questions this is what I wanted the channel to be.
@@ThePaintersCore I appreciate your help .one thing I’ve found in this job is you never stop learning 👍.i will give that a go next time..keep up the content mate..I really enjoy it and others do
No problem let me know if it does it may help someone else on this channel.really happy you enjoy it and your right always learn different ways of doing stuff.keep up the good work .
I know what you mean, if i do a cheap side job on a older car, they come out great . If i put pressure on myself with a nice motor , what can go wrong does. Not all the time but enough to get me thinking whats going on . Great content 👍
Yea absolutely so strange but at least we must care about the work we do to have this right.lol really appreciate your Comment and so happy you enjoy the content
There's wasnt any problems the colour was kept away from edge but I do agree it could been a problem painting the whole side would of been the best option to have no risk.thank you for your Comment.
@@ThePaintersCore no bro. I am a carpenter. I painted Many Cars in my paint Booth Where i worked. Now i am only a detailer. But i have a illness. I See everything in paint and colour differents. Struktur etc. I hat Cars that are repainted in peaces :) I enyjoy your Channel a lot
Think we all have those days mate! I remember painting a white Peugeot bonnet 3 times in a day due to having a mosquito landing in the 1st 2 attempts with the wings flat against the panel! On the 3rd I was thinking here we go again buy got lucky😂
10:24 painted bumber today, BASLAC 35 line camera read paint code RPR . Didn't check color it was supposed to be RQH. Even if the colour was good have to repaint tomorrow, the part of the bumper that is inside of trunk has to much peel
Ah man so double shit.the cameras are amazing 90% of the time.my camera struggles with blacks sometime doesn't see th blue sometimes. Love how you put the time 😆 hopefully you have a better day tomorrow.
Tbh I'm surprised people even watched the videos i do.i haven't thought about classes maybe could be a good option in the future for the channel.i only try and say it how I do things and hope it helps new painters or curious people out. Thanks for this comment made my day glad you enjoy the channel I hope to keep the content coming. 👍
Great job there, i know what you mean about the going through stages of runs. I just got one on a assement day with a new company ,of all the jobs to get one😂😂
Gti Pro lite 1.3 TE20 I use for standox, Gets it on great. Recently got an ls400 iwata 1.3 it’s ok but a bit of a pain the set up but great spraygun once dialled in. One thing I hate about standox is how gritty your blends get! Always have to make sure I tac them
I haven't tried my pro lite for standox so might give a try.yea standox blends can be like that for silvers and light colours I use the colour blend same a wetbed maybe give that a try works amazing I did it in the yellow kia video.
@@ThePaintersCore i had pair of supernovas but didnt like the fan sold em off. Would like to try Sata jet x 5500 but the money is not Justifiable tbh my devilbiss get job done never had issue woth then so why change? Easy versatile guns and lovely rounded fan i started with then many hears ago and stuck by them but will need to add some more guns just to try out maybe sagola or have to try Sata at some point.
Hi, quick question mate ive just bought a used sata x5500 1.2 rp like yours, always wanted to try one and im really happy with it. But my question is, the air cap seems to come out of the retaining ring pretty easily when im washing it. It doesn't just fall out its in the pretty well in there but i can see a round clip that holds the bit of the air cap with the horns into the retaining ring. On your cap does that round clip sit in your retaining ring then the horned part of the cap push into position upto the clip or is the clip supposed to sit behind the horned part of the cap holding it in place like it is on a devilbiss gun. Hope that makes sense 😂
Thanks for the comment tbh I'm not sure how mine is il have to have a look monday and get back to you.i think it in the outer cap and the fluid tip just pushes in but will have a look monday.
Yeah I'm same always had devilbiss guns, I got a iwata w300wb for small blowins and I like that quite a bit so wouldn't mind trying one of the new ws400 guns but this sata is doing an awesome job. I'm using it for clear at moment and a pro light for base. I'm stuck weather to buy a sata cc or a ws400 series2 for clear and just use this 5500 rp for base.
@@ThePaintersCore I’ve just across your channel today and it’s so relatable I’ve been a painter in accident repair for almost 10 years nearly left the trade but glad I didn’t! I use standox aswell brillaint paint system very fast but took me a while to get use to it previously was on sikkens autowave 2.0.
Thats great that you enjoy the channel i try and explain things best i can.i think it's better than a few years ago not to many of us now.i lobe standox the lacquer I find is my favourite.hoprfully I keep making videos you like.
Another tip I always paint bumper cover as if they are on the car then let the clear get sticky and then lay it down the build up on the edges won't happen
Yea I did use to do that with putting the bumpers on panel stands maybe start again.were always learning different ways gteat to hear how you approach it.thanks gor the comment
When I do those type of bumpers I wont take my first coat of clear to the fine line,on my 2nt coat i take it all the way just a tip i picked up doing these because they bridge so easy after the 2nt coat i take the tape off before i bake.
