FOR FUCK SAKES, to replace a fiddy dollar part. why put yourself through the toucher. whom in their right mine would shove a petty part where it shouldn't be at the first place, ,,,,,,
Good afternoon, a question. I have this same tractor. I have the same problem. I hope you can help me solve the problem. Look, mine also has carburetor problems, but you see, it also takes off.
live in central america ,365 days are 90´s is ok to remove the thermostat only, not install new one? I live Newark NJ had Crown Vic , never install a new thermostat. the only thing once in while i had the check engine light. that was not to often
I purchased one! Then, after great performance, I purchased the Earthquake Rototiller with the reverse wheel lever; making easy to back-up. Therefore, I am extremely happy with these purchases. Both machines work as I expected. Now, I would like to find a machine like the former “Yazoo” blade (brush-hog) mower! Oh! And these Chinese made engines have proven to be as good as “USA” Briggs & Stratton engines; which are now made in China. Zoom, Zoom y’all ! 😊
The only issue I've had with the engine is the carburetor float being gummed up with crap fuel and, basically dumping fuel into the oil. Pretty easy fix. Just drain the oil and run it. The float will clear itself. Currently looking for a new belt. Gonna go to an auto parts store, so I can have a part number that people can get anywhere
Similar problem I'm facing now. Mine will be slightly more difficult though. Good job getting it tightened up. The thing with the hinge seemed like a pain in the watusy to me. ✌️
i had a problem with the wheel bearings but got 10 of them at amazon for $12 which work well.. great machine, i have about 180 hours on mine as i do hiking trails with it.......mine has the viper engine... starts all the time... love it.....
I replaced the propane fridge in my sons trailer with a fridge just like the one you have. Fit in the spot nice and tight. Getting the propane fridge out the door of the trailer was a PITA. I had to remove the trim from the fridge. That shit is glued on with some super strong glue. I have since sold that trailer. The trailer I live in, the propane fridge broke about a 6 months ago. I have not removed it yet but I do have a fridge that is way too big(double the size) to fit where the old was was. It takes up a bit of room but it sure is nice to have double the space in the fridge.
Thus one was a couple inches narrower, 2 inches deeper and about 10 inches taller. There was a drawer under where the old fridge was that I cut out to make the space tall enough. The surprising part about this fridge is that it does very well on our solar setup. The old fridge barely fit out the door. Scraping the door frame on the way out. I wish I had recorded more of the removal and actual installation
Charge time? 1.5hrs. Found one of these, on the side of the interstate. Not charged, with no strap... Trying to charge it, as i watch this video. - Has the weird, micro usbc recharge battery. None of the lights, on the battery work.
I thought the plug on the battery was weird, but I suppose if you have 2, you could charge one with a plug that most of us still have lying around while you use the other. Never had mine go dead on me, though. I always finished what I was doing. I hope you get it working. They're pretty neat
Didn't get it to work. I emailed Coast, warranty...they're sending me a new one. I told them, I found it...and I do First Response/Rescue Services they said don't worry about it. And give us a review on it. I was like okay... Thanks.
I love their warranty policy. Pretty much, no questions asked. I still have 2 of my old flashlights around here somewhere. I plan on making a comparison video/review on my old flashlight vs. Their updated one they sent me under warranty
I did no put one in. There are no trees, or anything else around that will cause a problem. It will take years for enough dust to get into the tank to cause a problem. By then, we will have the cabin built and have a new system in place
I am looking into getting heating coils to line the last 3" of the roof which we can use to heat the last bit of edge (snow melt zone) in the winter. I'll have to size it to keep the battery bank up. You are way ahead of us!!
Be sure you try to place your gutters in a way that the rain and melted snow will go in them, but when the snow slides off, it will go past. I thought of putting up a blocker so the snow won't slide at all, but any more than a foot of now up there and I'd start to get nervous
Water collection is paramount. I was able to get up on the mountaintop Thursday and Friday and get the CASE Backhoe Loader back up and operating - trying to dig footers for the 30'x40' Steel Canopy. Great Job, Brother!! Hoping you get every drop of water to fill your tanks!!
@@WindwalkerHomestead sure hoping so! I am speaking with a guy down in New Mexico (of all places) and he has 3x 25,000 gallons storage tanks... for what - I am unsure... but he has a lot of water!
Wow! That is nuts, but in the southwest, I suppose you have to be prepared for long periods with no rain. I watch a guy called frugal off grid in Arizona and he has quite a bit as well, but he also has animals to take care of and used billboard vinyls for the cisterns. I thinknthat is a great idea and I want to get one to make a pond here
I didn’t hear that part. I’m sorry. I have over 30 years experience building off grid solar systems and I live off grid and I know how to do a lot of incredible things with direct current and batteries and I love people that are into solar. If I could save you any trouble, I will definitely offer my advice. I have 11 kW of solar and 34 kWh of battery and I have like six charge controllers paralleled to my main direct current bus. Good luck and happy YouTubing!
I didn't say anything about that in the video. That in itself will probably be its own video, if not with the inverter video. I've only been doing this for 5 years, so I'm still a beginner and this is the largest system I've had. Doing major upgrades this year hoping I won't have to run the generator all winter long again
Hello I didn’t watch the entire video so maybe you addressed this but the charge controllers should have adequate ventilation available as they get warm when running and the fans will be starving for air if it’s a sealed box. Just a suggestion but I would cut some vents in on the underside and also on the back near the top. The small 2” diameter round vent covers would work. Two on underside and two on the back near the top.
Thank you. I do plan on cutting a hole in the box and putting in an air filter for the intake and a vent on top for the exhaust. Once the inverter and battery charger go in, there will be no way around it
Epever charge controllers are not supposed to be horizontal. They are supposed to be mounted vertically on the wall so that the heat can convict upwards. Also, your mounting location is far too small for that equipment. It will overheat for sure. Plus the breakers will start cooking.
Thank you for your concern. As I stated, thus was only a temporary setup. Here is the rest of the video where I mount the controllers properly. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mZrZRiuogFw.html
That's exactly what I have. 11 panels altogether. Here's the second part of that video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mZrZRiuogFw.html
Thank you. I'm not sure what's going on with the likes. I turned the feature off, then back on. I might have to contact the youtube overlords to see what's going on😉
That EPEVER 80A is actually rated at 138V VOC. Its 150V at the "lowest temperature" you would experience. But solar panel labels are generally for nominal conditions so the 37V VOC on the solar panels x 4 = 148V, is too high. In cold temperatures the VOC of that solar string can easily exceed 150V. You will need to reconfigure the string a bit. I would consider paralleling two strings of 2 panels each. Buy a little solar combiner box to parallel the two strings together. I really like the little "Eco-worthy 4 string PV combiner" boxes. Check the fuse rating for the strings... I think that combiner box comes with 10A fuses, you might need 15A fuses with residential panels. But usually 10A is fine (per string). I don't recommend sitting the charge controller or batteries or anything else on the ground. Those are a bit too-exposed to the elements. Consider making a box for the equipment, with a solid lid, that won't let any water in that you can raise off the ground a bit. It's best to have a sealable box to reduce moisture issues but anything is better than sitting the equipment on the ground. Moisture can ruin the breakers, inverter, charge controller, etc. It won't last when exposed like that. -Matt
Thank you. I did read that part of the specs, but they can also handle 150% of the rated values. At most, the controller will limit the amount of power coming in. Ive already had that one hooked up all winter and its survived so far. They are also used panels, so they are only rated 75-80% of new. The second part of the video will be out soon, where I put it all in an electrical cabinet
Hopefully, it will be good enough for quite a while. Right now, out batteries are charged by 10:30-11:00am, so we will be upgrading the batteries after a while and getting a bigger inverter. My goal is to not run the generator for nothing but really dark skies. Anything that we run in the house, I want to be ran from the batteries and solar
@@WindwalkerHomestead even with a cell phone with notes... I just don't right it done unless there is a post-it pad around... then I never hear the end to, "What are all these post notes for?!?"....LOL!
Hope Harbor Freight gets, You a predator with no problems this time! Thats a lot of Brazs too be Hauling back in the Snow storm! I HAVE not Heard people having any problems with this 9000 Predator??? & this is the "4 time Your returning One?? Because it Wont start & leaking Oil??? I hate Hearing that too! So Hang in there with it Sir!!
Very nice, wasn't sure how the hole thing worked. BUT!!! I found a way to strengthen the sandpaper but using reinforced packaging tape, running strips of the tape across the back of the sandpaper. It really works to keep the paper from shredding or falling apart too soon.
Just regular gas. Harbor freight doesn't have meters on them for hours, but I can tell you this was used, basically, every day for 15+ hours at a time, for around 5 months. Had crap for solar power
I know this is an old vid. However, I love my o lights! I have a few coasts with no failures. they are decent for the lower cost. the newer hp3r 385 lumen version is supposedly improved. those are there penlights I use at work
I am really impressed with what Olight has to offer. I'm leaning towards one of their smaller ones with that has that clip that will allow you to clip the light to the brim of a hat. Coast has recently sent me a new design of the HP3R with my most recent return. Usbc charging and 500 lumens. I've been using it every day at home (I live off grid in the country, so when it's dark, it's DARK!🤣) and almost every day at work. Really impressed, so far considering it's such a small LED. I plan on doing a video of it soon and will post it once their website updates with the new version
kind of an old video, but how has this lasted in the long run? i love the G19 but it only lasts a few months before i need it replaced. I use these lights all day as a mechanic so they tend to take a beating
Sorry this took so long. YT didn't send me a notification that you commented. Typically, they seem to last a year. Being a mechanic was the reason why I got it in the first place. The warranty is easy, though. Just tell your tool guy and he should just exchange it. My most recent light lasted 2 years and now, I have the new 500 lumen one, so we will see if it's any better
I’ve been abusing my pen light for almost 10 years. It’s a stream light stylus pro. The new stream light micro stream is rechargeable and does 250 lumens. Streamlight has a clone of the Hp3r in the form of a stylus pro rechargeable plus sized. I’ve had nothing but good experiences out of streamlight. I just bought an hp3r. Hopefully it lasts for me. I’ve also run an olight eos 2. Pretty good edc light for the money. 18.99
They are decent lights. I just had to do a return on mine and they gave me an updated one with 500 lumens. I've been checking it out for the past few weeks. Seems to have been updated a bit in design, too. Hopefully things are just getting better for it. I'm waiting till their website to update before I make a video about this one
If I recall when I replaced mine,98, there was a smaller o ring as well that caused a leak resulting in doing the job twice. I remember when we changed our thermostats twice a year, winter and summer and it was a 15 minute job. Also consider checking ECT sensor. Engine coolant temperature sensor. That’s what my problem was to begin with. 5 different mechanics didn’t discover the problem because it didn’t show up on any code readers.
Wow. That's really interesting. This one didn't have a second o ring. Did it have 2 sensors? I know some vehicles had a sensor that was for a Guage and another that was for the ecu. I just diagnosed one like that a few weeks ago
I wish I could remember. If it wasn't buried so deep, I'd say just try it one way and if it doesn't to work, try a different way. It won't be that easy to fuck it up. I would think that at worst, you would have a backwards choke. I'd go ahead, hook it up how you think it goes, work the choke lever and see if the choke blade moves open and closed how it should. I wish I could help more
@WindwalkerHomestead I got it installed, but it seems like the plunger doesn't seat the whole way in the carb. The original choke would stay open when the lever was pulled. This one opens and just retracts.. It runs fine after I adjusted the idle. I'm just gonna roll with it if there are no issues. Thanks for the reply.
That is kinda weird. I'll have to pay attention when I do it again and do some better camera angles and such. Fir thus video, I just did a simple rebuild. It won't run again, so I'm just gonna replace it with a new one and redo a video. I'm glad you got it running
Toro, sold by Amazon, has a Briggs engine and is about the same price. Rural King, Lowes, Tractor Supply and Troy Built all have string trimmers. I did videos on this trimmer @ T wagner RU-vid with the Viper engine.
It would be about 3 and 2/3 inches by 9 inches. The full sheet being 9x11. If they make a 4x9 sheet, or something close, that's what I'd use if buying purpose cut sheets
