Charlie, I really love the sound you get in everything you play. I noticed that you slide that 3 2 thing on the 3rd string. I generally do a triplet pull off myself...Muchas for what you do...Jack Baker NYC/NJ
Reuben..I assume that this is your bsnjo.ive seen the vids with Charlie Cushman as well as Jim mills. Truly one of the best sounding banjos I've ever heard. I would like you to post a vid on the history of this great banjo
Great job Steve! Sounds fantastic!! Do you remember when to took my 1929 Gibson Style 5 with the 1934 flathead tone ring installed at the factory and sold new inn 1934! We were at the IBMA a few years ago. Still have the banjo! Incidentally I love playing my Huber Lexington5 String! Great tone, easy to play!!
There's players and there's talkers. There's great banjos and there's clunkers. For our rare pleasure we have the best and worst of each of those here. So folks when you go to see one of the best banjos ever made and set up being played by an awesome player, try shutt'n TFU and letting those who wanna hear, listen.
