@nathannguyen4398 Your welcome. Nah you will be alright, it's a pretty tough design. If it over heats it may stop working until it cools down again but I have never had that problem before either
Good and very detail step by step video, but may I ask how you connect to google home and use voice to control on and off? another thing is can i install this on my aircond wire? if so then can you tell me how? my aircond dont have switch and the wire is direct connect to my power from my wall socket.
@yasufumithebest Thank you. When you it pair it to the Tuya app it will automatically connect to the Google Home app and then Google will control it when you ask it to. Providing your Air Conditioning is not drawing more then 10AMPS then yes you can connect it to the Smart Switch. You would need to connect the Live wire of the Air Con to the L-OUT pin and your Live Power wire to the L-IN pin and it will work but be very careful because it's high voltage so I would recommend getting a professional electrician to do it for you if you have no experience with mains voltage wiring
Hi, I need temperature alarm but I would like to see clock and speed all the time. Having clock and speed displayed will this device sound temperature alarm?
@mchlkwlczk8713 Yes it will but you need the OBD2 version because the GPS version does not support Temperature. The OBD2 version will not work with all vehicles so make sure your car is supported by the device first
Can It be used as this? Single Tap = if Off then turn on and if On turn off - Switch Bot Double Tap = if Off then turn on and if On turn off - Fan Long press = if Off then turn on and if On turn off - Air conditioning
I'm not a fan of the popup plastic screens. I used to love the HUD in my Jag, which was laser projected onto the screen. However, i recently purchased a Hyundai Tucson, and the HUD makes the Jag HUD look silly and cheap.
Can i measure the voltage residing of the video power and video ground with digital multimeter when reverse camera is ON? Will there be a voltage reading ln the video ground or just 0V constant?? How to identify the video power and ground in case if no diagram is available? Please help this is really interested 😊
I'm back with SUPER CURIOSITY on reverse camera wiring diagrams. Why are you not making any videos about backup reverse camera in cars? These days many comes pre-installed with rear camera. Hence, the curiosity arise for the need to understand how the camera sends signal to the radio unit, etc etc??? In fact, in general, reverse camera has 5 wires with one wire being a shielded ground, one is camera power, one is camera ground, one is video power and another is video ground. Total 5 wires. So, can you please immediately make new videos on these 5 wires??? Please 🙏🙏🙏
@@SHORTwithTECH okay but these are just for installation the cam. It doesn't tell how to identify the camera video ground and video power wires using multimeter???? Consider the case if you have no wiring diagrams and you try to install it. What voltage readings will I get on these wires?
@tnamen1307 I would recommend contacting an auto electrician in your area that you can take your car to and who will be able to help you with the Installation, all the best
@melqui787 To change it from Celsius to Fahrenheit do this: 1. Press and Hold the M Button to enter the Settings menu 2. Now your In the settings menu choose Option 9 3. Change Parameter value from the default value which is '0' to '1' 4. Press and Hold the M Button to Save your changes and Exit 0=Celsius and 1= Fahrenheit, hope that helps you
Hi there, what would you say is the latency between the camera and the image being shown on the screen. The use case would be hooking up a trailer. If the camera image is delayed too much between "real time" and "screen time" then I might just get hole in my bumper :-) ...
@TheNinoherr unfortunately the latency varies all the time, I would recommend a wired camera for your use or if you really want to go wireless then this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HYmXaGZxjis.htmlsi=X_ixhHYrJ3pnc5Tp will work without the long latency problems, best of luck
@yuri_moraru you should be able to do that however the clone version does not always like to play nicely when trying things like that from my personal experience
Hey man, I am looking for the Giordon keyless video, somehow i am not able to find the Giordon device that made the car lock and unlock based on your distance, do you have any other alternative other than the Giordon device?
@dugix2292 if you mean my Giordon video, it's here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QJ4-k1rgz48.htmlsi=DS39yNxZzE7aKzQn Alot of the PKE systems can be unreliable so for that reason I would stick with the Giordon MP686 a.aliexpress.com/_mqk2glS
@vikramrajagopal5735 Hello, that is just a Smart controlled articulated swing arm motor as seen in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Tb-GoboSpPI.htmlsi=Ks_1UJCBHUQt2d0j
@luongtime5364 if your using a wireless gateway like the one in this video then from a performance point of view you would definitely benefit from it if the house is huge. For a really big house I would recommend using wired. Just start with one gateway, you can add more at anytime
@johndonadio3312 it won't work mounting the radar sensor behind a steel bumper no. You would need to mount the sensor externally or mount it higher or lower then the steel bumper
Hello once again. I followed your lead and bought the same system as you recommended. However, I am having a problem in connecting the electrical wires. There is what appears to be a relay with three wires on one side (yellow, red, and black) and two wires on the other side (red and black). Connecting all four wires as the manual shows does not trigger the relay and there is no power coming out of the relay going to the lights on the A and B posts. My question is what should the yellow wire be connected to? The installation manual only shows the red (Acc) and black (ground) but then I cannot understand what would trigger the relay. The diagram on what I assume is the relay shows that the yellow wire is 39v. Thanks for your help.
@brianmaule2449 Hi, this was a long time ago when I installed this and I don't recall there being a relay used in this BSM kit so i presume your talking about the flasher relay maybe of your car? What Year/Make/Model is the car your installing this BSM system to?
@@SHORTwithTECH A 2009 jaguar but I have used relays to get positive outputs for the reverse and indicator wires, The problem is that the kit comes with an inline fuse and a relay but these are not mentioned or detailed in the diagramed directions included. Thanks
@brianmaule2449 The Relay and Inline fuse are optional and not required for most installations. You donot put power to the Indicators or reverse light, the wires from the BSM are input triggers only and require input voltages from the indicators and reverse light for the BSM to function. If your using relays then there should be power on pin 87 when the Indictators are flashing, if there is no power then you have the relays wired up incorrectly
@@SHORTwithTECH Sorry for the delay. Yes, I am using relays that give power to Pin 87 when indicators are flashing. However, even when I remove the inline fuse and relay and put power directly into the 12v red wire, the warning lights (attached to Post A and B) do not work. I believe that these lights are defective. I will dump this and try another brand. Thanks for all of your help.
@brianmaule2449 sorry it's very hard to help with this problem over the internet. I doubt that both of the led lights would be defective. I don't see you mentioning anywherr that you have connected the switched +12V wire at all, you did connect this wire right? If you didn't then that's why it's not working.
@meowcatplsmeowback Yes, using the switch will manually override it, without the switch no, so if you lose network connection and you don't have the switch connected, things could get interesting
Hi i have a android head unit so the red wire goes to ignition and black to ground? I think my head unit also has a back up trigger wire do i slso attach it to the red/ignition wire?
@Box-po4jz if your android auto head unit has a backup wire then you can put the red wire of both the transmitter and reciever to that. If it doesn't then putting the red wire to ignition will also work yes or you can just run a wire from the backup light or switch. The black wire goes to ground for both of them.
@omoyajowojohn8887 yes if it's powered up permanently it will trigger the camera instantly but you don't want it powered up all the time, only when the car is in use
Hi, I have a question. My door swings outwards so I assume the motor needs to be outside or is there a way to keep the motor inside the house? If the motor is outside I am concerned if it is waterproof.
Thanks, this helped me get my switch in pairing mode, the instructions that come in the box are woeful. With the latest version of Zigbee on Home Assistant, it is able to work through Z2MQTT.
@H0mework oh ok, getting it apart is easy, it just clips together. Never tried to flash this one before, the Shelly smart switches are designed for that
Hi Is it possible connect a smart button to say a Tuya controlled LED controller without the Tuya app operating. ie smart switch to gateway gateway to smart controller?
@rodmcmahon4829 You must use the app to pair the device to the gateway,.There is no direct link connection except for the RF switches thar dont require an app to use them, for example like this one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Tthpe5YKKcE.htmlsi=CxIcpN73ROzU9EIX
I removed a chime from my door bell (it dings, but no longer dongs), and placed a vibration sensor where the hammer would strike the chime, and now I get notifications on my phone and the rest of the house
I have only just purchased one of these and also found your review ( great review by the way) my question is how do you calibrate the speed? Regards Andrew
@andrewbassett8210 Thank you. To calibrate the speed do this: 1. Press and Hold the M Button to enter the Settings menu 2. You need the first setting, which is Option 1, so you should see parameter 107 displayed now (in Kmh mode) 3. Now adjust the speed accuracy. e.g if Speedo displays 100Kmh but HUD displays 105Kmh then by default the algorithm should be 107-5=102 so simply change it to 102 or the required value that you need. 4. Press and Hold the M Button to Save your changes and Exit Hope that helps you
@@SHORTwithTECH cheers for getting back to me so quickly, I actually want the HUD to show the correct (real) speed. At the moment my vehicle and HUD are about identical. My vehicle speedometer is out by 6 kph. What setting is 100% correct GPS speed? Regards Andrew
@@andrewbassett8210 I don't know what year/make/model your car is but all you can do is calibrate the HUD to be 6Kph lower or higher then your incorrect Speedometer. You may need to calibrate and drive the car until you get it correct. I can't advise you of a value to experiment with as I don't know if your trying to raise or lower the speed of the HUD
@sreysopanha7626 if it's a US model 2003, that's right on the crossover change point so possibly not. However this M1 GPS HUD will work on that car no problem ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-niFv0fHEVyk.htmlsi=_eINoA8gLD_bj2uT
@silvanomaranhomontador3925 if your using the Buck Line Cable you could try disconnecting the ACC wire to see if that works but it may not as alot of Automotive Gadgets work on voltage sensing which won't be possible to override
@Ostrovskymaksim-ir2pk Nice car! I haven't heard of that problem before. Does your Speedo also have the same problem? If yes then suspect possible faulty wheel speed sensor. If no, have you tried doing a factory reset with the HUD ? 1. Press and Hold the M Button to enter the Settings menu 2. Choose Option 12, now you should see parameter value 0 displayed on the screen 3. Change the parameter value from 0 to 1 4. Press and Hold the M Button to Save your changes and Exit Hope that helps you, keep the comments section updated on the result if you can
