Hey! I am a 3D Live Performance Artist with a strong emphasis on AR/VR/MR and Web3. I have created and published over 120 Metaverse-Environments on all the major platforms such as: Spatial.io, Mozilla Hubs, Somnium Space, Decentralland, W3rlds, Meta Horizon Worlds.
Strong passion for Digital Theater. Unreal Engine 5 for VR and Interactive Experiences using Pixelstreaming.
I am always trying to improve my skills in creating web3 VR Environments as well as creating interactive experiences that combine the real world with the digital world.
For the past three years, I´ve also been working as a leading member with the artist collective: Minus.Eins Together, we create online events and festivals of various sizes. With projects such as the Ars Electronica Festival 2020, Berliner Festspiele/ Theatertreffen 2021 we have positioned ourselves at the forefront when it comes to successfully setting up interactive online events.
I have been searching for days on how to communicate between a couple blueprints, a widget and an actor, with no luck. This method worked! And it's a fantastic idea to use Get All Actors with the Interface. So simple and efficient. You are amazing. Keep up the good work!
Is the stats image you built in photoshop connected to and updated by gameplay? And if so, how does one tie game functionality to an image being brought in from outside FN? I need to make a simple list of items for a player to find in a scavenger hunt and have the crossed off after they find them. Seems easy, but I’m a total beginner and don’t know where to even start. This video seems like it might have some skills that apply, but if there’s an easy way, will someone please tell me? Thanks! :)
Can Microsoft Surface run AR programs? I Packaged exe, but when I run, after tap on Scan environment, nothing happened (Camera Allow to use on apps is enabled on windows)
Clear and concise! Thank you for this helpful tutorial and the optimization tips and tricks. I also appreciate the migration advice to move only what you need into a new blank project.
do you have any reccommendation for capturing both body and face of multiple actors for unreal engine? So far i think rokoko is one of the few softwares that lets me export a single fbx with all the data that i need for my metahumans
I understand now. Thank you! For anyone who still got stuck, make sure to use the picker tool on the variable and pick the blueprint that youre casting to.
hi there i need some help with the clothes of my unreal project when i put the view distance to low the clothes animation completely breaks but when i change the view distance to high or epic it just works perfectly fine . im attaching a video link below for better understanding of the situation . Link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zumiB9u5WqM.html . I appreciate any help possible
Just a little question after having implemented up to the point of printing the event parameters (control id, velocity) - For some reason I am getting release velocities of 64, rather than 0! Weird. The strange thing is that I loaded up a separate midi monitor utility app, and it is correctly reporting that the release velocity from the device's notes is 0 / note off.
Even stranger, it is only one of my midi controllers doing this.. although outside of unreal editor, they both report correct note on (1-127)/note off(0) messages.. hmm. I guess no help necessary, unless you have any ideas as to how this device is conflicting...
Thank you so much! Ive been through mamy midi vids, docs, and finally youve put everything together with a great explanation! Coming from a midi background and new to unreal, its a bit weird how they do things, but makes sense now with your help. Particularly was confused about midi device/midi input device!
That stupid Object pin was driving me nuts. Now I know what to plug into it. If you cast to Class (i.e. the purple blueprint node) then you're in another world of pain. I still don't understand what that's even for.
Currently, and until the end of september, there's an indie package that gives you the smartsuit pro 2, the gloves and the Rokoko Studio Plus for a year for a total of 2,245.00$, on top of that you can add a rebate a 200.00$ if you enter the coupon UNREALVFX, I wonder if at 2K$ this is a good choice now even though the raw data needs touch ups, curious to hear people's opinion.
If this can help with the FAILED TO MERGE BONE ERROR, I have done the same thing mention in other comments below (thanks for the help): - Importing AND exporting the mesh with the correct Axis - Making sure the bone for the original skeleton was just "root" and not "root.005" or whatever other number is written And also I was exporting just the mesh in the first place, I didn't understand you need to export BOTH the mesh and the root object to get it to work. (I have my blender export options as "Selected only").
Help!! Still doesn't work (cast fails) because you set the value of them to the blueprint class without telling us how. At 2:53 you mention you made it editable so then you can edit it in the viewport, but I am doing this in the gamemode class so changing the value in the viewport is not possible. In the details pane it's labeled 'none', and I CANNOT change this value whatsoever. Like how do I connect it in the details pane???
Whenever I make 2 buttons, they both have the exact same ‘response button’ tabs. No matter what I do they both change at the same time and have the same settings
ok, but what about I make another level map, level. Im migrating it to that master project-content again. And lets say I have used in that new level, second map half of the assets I've already used in that first level, map I migrated earlier. Will it migrate all assets needed for that second map, level again= including half of these assets I already have (because I already used them and migrated with the first map, level)? or will it see I already have them in my master project (used in first map) and will only migrate rest=NEW of the assets needed to recreate another level, map?
Honestly im just learning unreal thinking of getting imto shaders next. But i am curious this is to apply to any nesh correct? As in i can apply this to everything but my character?
I think you made some bad things here. First, check board is not in right size, not on firm hard board. Moreover, your lighting in your room, make your clothes change color (while you're moving) -> make software confusing.
Did you import the animation from Mixamo? I can't make it loop, so the animation stops at frame 100, and my Santa isn't moving. I would appreciate any advice on how to fix it!
