now how in the hell do you separate the output shaft from the motor from the keyed extension for the gear box? cant use a gear puller because the end of the engine crankshaft is covered by the gear box shaft piece
Hi, we highly recommend finding a qualified professional with experience or an electrician to perform wiring any electric components to ensure the work does not void the warranty.
1 you should have a pvc slit filter thats inside the tank and fully submerged. That makes less connections and leak points in your intake line and also less resistance. 2 having a discharge and or a bypass line on a 12v pump won’t work if you have any type of proportioning system which is a massive part of the market and a huge selling point of 12v pumps to the market is how simple they are and easy to use because you can let off the trigger and they stop and you’re not backfilling a tank and can use a metering style system. Relays in these pumps go out because they don’t use large gauge wires and they use small junk relays. You of course don’t want draw lines super far and you don’t want to rapid cycle your pumps but if manufacturers start not allowing warranties unless you have a discharge line then they will just buy a different brand or likely kill the 12v market. Both Delavan and Remco need to step their game up on the relays they use and provide customers with a pump that has a quality relay and proper gauge wires. I have sent many emails and videos to both companies and with all things remaining the same a simple, relay and wire switch, solves all the problems. Apparently their supplier in China doesn’t have the quality they used to.
I just changed out the diaphragm today, normally i have someone else do it for me, but since he is no longer here i has to do it myself. After took in and out twice it's still not working. It has no pressure. My question is the diaphragm with word and number, are you sure that suppose to face toward to you or it's backward? When i took off my diaphragm was face without the word and number outside. I wonder if this causing to not have pressure.
Hi, both the blue and clear diaphragms have writing on both sides. One side says “Oil” and that would be what you put up against the pump. The diaphragms generally don’t affect the pressure though unless they are completely ruptured to the point of no return. I hava a question. My pump is leaking chemical(the liquid I'm using to sprar my lawn) by the oil reservoir glass. Just doing that in the video it will be fixing the problem. In advance thank you.
I'm having an issue with my brand new unit. it is not building any pressure, but the water is flowing. i changed the unloader to all 4 positions and the 4th one saw a few psi but nothing on the others. what could be the cause?

I'm not getting any pressure on my pump. I just installed it. Do i need to add air into the accumulator? I tried all 4 settings on the unloader. I saw a very slight increase when i was on setting 4. Any ideas,?
You do need air in the accumulator. You want to put 20 psi or 20% of the normal operating pressure in the dome. It could be that you have your agitation valve wide open and there is an air leak on the suction side or the regulator is bad. If you can email a picture of your sprayer or a short video to info@sprayerdepot.com we can take a look at it and give you more clear guidance.
@@Sprayerdepot you're a lifesaver. I will send something over today or tomorrow. When you say normal operating pressure, if I plan on using the machine around 200-300 psi . I should inflate it between 40-60 psi?
Actually a cucumber, but great guess! This is not our best videography work, we definitely agree. We appreciate you watching, and sticking with us through good quality and not so good quality.
Yes, you can! If you want to call us at 800-228-0905 or email us at sales@sprayerdepot.com we can help you with the specific steps for your exact situation.
We don't recommend it - bleach requires more heavy duty components. Give us a call at 800-228-0905 or email us at sales@sprayerdepot.com and we'll be happy to help you find the right equipment.
I can’t get my gear box off my motor I’ve been trying for two days hammer, deadblow, mallet, ballpeen, wood and hammer, even a damn sledge. I need this motor for Monday so please if any one can help.
Hi Zach, we're sorry it's giving you trouble - sometimes this happens and it seizes if it's not removed once a year and anti-seize applied. Our customer service techs said a new engine is the best course of action at this point.
I have checked all of these and the pump is still not making enough pressure so I am now thinking its something to do with the pistons as it has a lot of miles. I checked intake its clear. Rebuilt the regulator, Diaphrams look good, check valves are free and the springs look good. I can not raise the pressure any higher when sprayer is activated and it barely powers the 3 boom heads. It used to power them with no issues. All hoses clear, Filter screen is clear, there are no air leaks. So what are the symptoms if the pistons are going out?
Hi! If the pistons are broken, the pump won't turn. If it is a pressure issue only, you should replace the regulator. The service team says a new #601093 Control Unit for KAPPA-33/43/53 should take care of the problem.
@@Sprayerdepot Yes I rebuilt the regulator. I do notice the pump shaking when I engage it. When I switch to boom mode its smooth. I have a new pump coming so I will swap it out and see if the problem is still there. This pump is old with a lot of hours so its time regardless. I have checked the check valaves and they all are good so why it shakes has be wondering. I am thinking it may be a diaphram issue I am not seeing. I will save and rebuild this old pump and set it aside as a spare. I decided to rebuild everything and replace all hoses and valves. Thanks!
