I tried 3 to 4 differernt check valves, The Ozone machine keeps filling up with water. would this cleaning help stop water from getting forced into the ozone machine? I have a master spa twilight 8.2. the white PVC connector looks the same.
It worked great. Thanks so much, best troubleshooting video so far. I turned off and on the hose a few times to push the air a little farther. You could hear the pump catch the water and start pumping. The blue light turned itself back on once the flow started moving. I now I just have to wait and see if the temp starts to climb.
If it is a Hot Spring, you can turn off one of the breakers if you are running it on 220V. Depending on the model, it could be the 20A, or the 30 Amp. Typically, larger spas will have the heater on the 20Amp, and on smaller, on the 30. Or you could just lower the temperature. The heater won't click on unless it drops below the set temperature.
Hi I have a 2021 Hotsprings Aria new and after adding vanishing act pillow there has been some brown residue appearing around the edges of the water. Now the high jets is flowing at different strengths slowing down then speeding up slowing down then speeding up, but jets on low setting work fine. I cleaned the main filter and it’s still happening. Any idea what this could be?
Surging jets almost always just mean a blockage in an intake. The aria has that weir door that floats to the water level… if that gets stuck, it will surge in high speed. Make sure that is down all the way when the jets are on. Also, the main filter is only the circulation pump. Surging comes from the jet pumps. Remove your filters, all of them, make sure there is no debris, and try the jets in high speed. If that works, again checking the weir door, then it’s time for a deep clean in your filters or a new set
This is not an accurate comparison. Swimex produces 10 times the volume of current 25,000 vs 2500, additionally is wider and deeper of a current column. If you have a strong swimming background, than there is no question which you should choose.

Do i have to drain the spa to do this? Mines full.... I've drained and stuck the hose in the hole, and opened the main drain valve and did this. But it's still going into protection mode. Dealer agreed, that that's what my problem is. But I can't figure out how to clear it.
What if you've done all the steps mentioned above, And the green light isn't flashing but is off?? Previously, it was flashing, now its not even doing that? I've adjusted the levels, cleaned filters, my water is perfect... I've even eliminated phosphates which we discovered were high in our area and still issues with the green light. My salt level bar is always borderline in the yellow, barely in the green! My Salt cell will be a year old in June! Help!
That's unlikely. If it is a Highlife Hot Spring Spa, it could be too much air in the filters (if the filters are brand new), or it could, more likely be clogged filters. The thing to check first would be to remove all the filters and try turning on the jets (ensure that you don't have any debris in the spa, so nothing gets sucked into the jet pump.). If it works, then you know that is the problem :)
@@PrescottSpasPrescottValley Great video. I have a 2007 Envoy too that seems to randomly stop heating. Resetting the power does the trick, but any idea on what would be causing it to stop heating after sitting for a few days?
I would just restart the spa, with no filters. If you still get bubbles from the bottom, it's most likely not a flow problem (pressure switch problem.) But resetting the spa might reset the heater. If that doesn't work, it may be mechanical. Most likely a thermistor.
I don’t have an error, but my jets aren’t working, I do get a little bubbles coming from the bottom, could this still be the problem even without a error blinking message
Hi Heather! If it is the jets that aren't turning over, it could be air in the actual pump itself. If you have bubbles coming up from the bottom of the spa, the circulation pump and heater should be fine. You could try to remove the filters entirely, and run the jets (you should hear a hum at the very least) for a few minutes to see if they turn over without the filters in. Otherwise, you may have to get in the equipment compartment to bleed the air out of the pump itself (normally you do not have to do this.)
@@PrescottSpasPrescottValley thanks for getting back to me so quickly! Remove the filters! Like the ones I take out and clean and replace? Yes I do have small bubbles coming out of the drain on the bottom, so m going to try to bleed the air out of the pump, there is nasty stuff that came out of the jets when I stuck the hose it in, so I’m going to put spa cleaner in as soon as I get the jets working and it up to temp
It actually doesn't really matter unless the water from the hose is a vastly different temperature from the rest of the water in the hot tub. It's probably safer to leave the power off and turn it back on when you are done :)
Also my display panel stopped lighting up. I can still get the temperature to change because I know which buttons to push. Do I need a new panel or a fuse?
It sounds like a bug. Generally speaking, turning off the spa at the breakers and turning it back on will reboot the controls. Try that before we replace anything.
Hot Spring and Endless Pools are owned by the same company. Endless Pools has certain pools that are 58" tall for a 4' depth of water. The deepest hot tubs generally cap out at 38". Hot Spring has a few, but they are generally larger models.
Hello, my temp minus button seems to be broken at it is on Ut 1 currently. Is there a way to do some kind of factory reset to get the temperature right down without using that button?
This is a common problem with these spas. I would try taking apart the control panel to see if you can pop the button loose and then get it to work again. Otherwise you may have to replace the control panel.
These buttons don’t last forever, my jets button seems to be stuck in place and won’t work, thankfully I do have the secondary jets button in the tub that still works.
I have a leak that appears to be at the back end of the single stage pump. The only hose close to there is the drain tube from the two stage pump. Is it possible to change this tube? It is hard to see but I can't think of any other place it would be leaking. Help please.
Hi Galen, I'm not quite sure what you are referring to. Are you speaking to the bleed line (the small 1/2 inch line coming off a jet pump) with a drip? If so, the insert is easily replaceable if you use the right size. But you would need to verify that there is indeed a drip there
@@PrescottSpasPrescottValley , Yes, the bleed line is where I am feeling water but not sure it is coming from there. Is there water in the line all the time? I am loosing about three to four gallon in 24 hours. If it's not from that tube what else is close to the rear of the single stage motor that may be leaking?
@@galenbradley5765 If it is what we are thinking, it could be a cracked drain fitting (again, just guessing based on what you are saying.) It is a small 1/2" fitting on the wet end of the pump with a clear vinyl line coming out of it. It is designed to make sure you don't get air build up in the pump. Try taking a towel and dry up everything around it to make sure that is the case. Make sure nothing is coming out of the impeller area and the seal. When you get too much Calcium build-up, it could push the seal a bit and cause it to leak a little as well. In which case you'll want to rebuild the pump. What is your spa model and the year? That would help me ;)
@@PrescottSpasPrescottValley , I dried up all the water. From what I can see the fitting on the pump is dry. The first place I see water pooling is at the rear of the single stage motor right below the bleed line that comes off the two stage pump where it goes into the side of the spa body. My spa is an Envoy KK, Serial #KK2G1620. Thanks
Thanks for the informative video. My control panel buttons tend to get stuck sometimes and are difficult to press. I have this same panel. When I go to lock or unlock the spa, the minus button for the light sticks in. Is there a safe way to lubricate these buttons? Thanks!
My option button is not responding at all. It is not locked so I can not adjust temperature. All other control buttons work. Even peeled the button off and depressed the inner button manually. Is it time for a new control panel? Thanks
That's not good! I'm glad I helped! Does the moto massage still go up and down? You can always send me a picture! nick@azhottubco.com and maybe I could help decipher what is going on! Generally when you have a lot of floaties in your hot tub, the most common thing is the tag from the cover disintegrating, and it looks like white tubbing. Tubbing itself is highly unlikely to fall apart. I think the only one that might be able to do that if the pH is extraordinarily low would be the blue air hose for the moto massage. If it is white, it's either calcium or paper.
If it has a circulation pump, the jets would still work, but the heater is connected to the circulation and that could cause the spa to not heat, but the jets to work
