The premiere operatic tenor of this era! Opera, Italian Ballads, Italian Folk Songs, Pop Opera, Rat Pack, Italian-American Favorites. Actor and stand-up comedian. The funniest, all-ages show with music and stories, "Here's Johnny!"
With all due respect, is this video satire? Do you really think you are “this era’s premier tenor”? If so, I invite you to go hear how a real tenor sounds like; Alessandro Moccia and Franco Corelli are good examples. Heavens, even a 15 year old sounds better than this! If you really want to pursue a career as a TRUE operatic tenor, then I suggest you work on your technique, and stop using microphones. Maybe no one told you but, opera singers don’t use microphones; real ones at least. And no, ‘popera’ singers like Bocceli or Antoine don’t count. This comment shouldn’t be taken as an attack, but as a piece of important advice. It’s clear that you are passionate about music, but if you really wish to be a ‘premier tenor’ or even a professional tenor at all, then you really need to learn the right technique. I recommend Shawn Uplaznik, he is in Montreal but I believe he also teaches online. Good luck with your career
Let me wipe a tear first... Ha! I have been entertaining for many years, so I don't take offense. In actuality, technical perfection is not important to my audience. The quality of my performances is measured by my emotional connection to the music and the number of tears in the audience's eyes. The product of my performances is this: that it has the desired effect on the audience. It does. And I do make good money at it. Thank you for your interest!
Oh, yeah, that's a good one! I think I need to do that too. It seems to me that it means more to me that I'm older. Probably a younger man would not get this song.
Thank you! We love you too! I will post clips of these, maybe I can boost the sound. It was recorded in a tile showroom, so too much reflection of the crowd noise!
I wonder though, if the stuff in the yard would have sucked all of my volume. I had a gig once singing at the Fendi/Bentley Boutique in Beverly Hills, but without a PA, against all the loud talking, I could not be heard by all.
@@ram0166 Starbucks? I totally agree! Paying $5 for a cup of coffee? The worst part of it is, these idiots keep on paying for it, and keeping them in business! 🤮
I paid $5 for a cup of coffee at my hotel in 1992, when I was in Zurich for work. And not even a refill. But it was goooooooood coffee. The best I ever had - made with water from the Alps!
I think "hate" is overexaggerating... Take a chill pill. You're being a little too overly sensitive Johnny 🙄 Didn't Bill say he thought the commercial was "kinda witty, good marketing strategy?"
@@mynewdogtiger lol! 🤣🤣🤣 We know, you've already said that... Wait a minute... "National Attention" ??? You got 427 views, 74 subscribers, and 6 comments now.... You take the word 'Narcissism' to all new heights
@@Tony-Plinkett I would not say new heights of narcissism. I think I'm modestly narcissistic. On the other hand, I did get you to click, so that's good.
@@mynewdogtiger Yeah, that was 8 month ago I made those comments... How many additional views have you received since then? btw... How many of those 'clicks' were yours? 🤣
It as always disgust me when such a beautiful opera is being sung beautifully that common people are walking about, I would be riveted to my seat if I was there till the end. If it was some stupid rubbish being sung there would be total silence, God as been so cruel to me.. Bloody ignorant working class people who want them.
My wife and I went to see Andrea Bocelli in Vegas some years ago. His last encore was nessun dorma. But people were tromping down the stairs to the exit. He did it beautifully, perhaps the best song in the show, and they missed it so they could go home and have a glass of cheap red wine with ice in it.
@@mynewdogtiger Hi. Is this you singing. I have been listening to this aria for over 60 plus years, must say I like how the ending is sung in 2015. Did you copy or is it your idea?
@@welshwizardwales - Well, sir, I have practiced many times, and probably sung it with Pavarotti more than any other singer, so he is my biggest influence. I always really enjoy singing that last note! By the way, this video was shot at a restaurant, so those people walking about were mostly the wait staff.
