can you think of an example this was used in an mma fight ? correct me if i’m wrong but catching that arm with the bicep control seems like alot to bank on. and unlikely to happen in an mma fight . fighters in mount usually frame with both arms on their opponents chest to create distance before they punch . correct me if i’m wrong
Like I say in the first 5 seconds, its something that tends to work once, an opponent who has seen this will probably not fall for it again. I have cornered about 800 fights and seen it a handful of times. It should not replace the fundamentals of shrimping and bridging escapes, but is important to know at least to be aware of it if you are the guy on top.
@@dannyy8619 so I like to use lockdown when i need to clinch and keep tight. It depends on my goal, if I wanted to stand back up I would use a knee shield half guard. But for keeping tight and setting up sweeps and subs I use lockdown. Its also a great way to slow down your opponent if you are tired or if they are super athletic!
Ken Warnick, who wrestled at Clarion State in the 1960's was the first person I saw use the Sladle. He pinned a Lock Haven wrestler using the spladle during the 1966/196 season. Later in the wrestling season Ken pinned three wrestlers at the Division II tournament, callled NAIA. Wade hadn't even started wrestling back then. Wade improved the move and gave it the name, spladle.
Some of the best coaches in the world haven’t been in the ufc themselves, Tim Welch Suga Sean O’Malleys coach for example he was a fighter but never made it to the UFC
Even if that first punch was fake (which it wasn't) How can anyone with any semblance of reality claim the 2nd Knockdown and the KO finish weren't real?? They were some of the most lethal punches in recent memory in high profile fights. MMA fans stupidly believe that smaller gloves = harder punches. This is most definitely untrue. Years ago they didnt wear gloves in Boxing and fighters careers were cut short from broken hands. Gloves were introduced to protect fighters hands so they could punch harder and allowing more entertaining Knockouts. As gloves got better, punches got harder. This is why an MMA fighter could take punches from another Mixed Martial Artist, but when facing someone who punches for a living, who can really sit down on his shots he gets taken out with relative ease.
Great build, but use of space could be maximised by getting rid of the treadmill & replacing it with a Total Gym like Chuck Norris endorses, and a Roman Chair. Can do your running in a park.
i take it you have no experience in combat sports (is the mma thing someting of a password?) usyk is faster ,better on his feet ,and far more technical than fury. i called it right ,you called it wrong. still a goog fight though!
I couldn't stop watching Ro in the background, 😂. Im hoping Tyson will do it for England, but Usyks skill and speed is unreal, so Im a bit 50 50, think it will be close, but hoping Tyson will edge it. X
I agree that Fury at his best wins, but if he is less than 100% it might be difficult due to Usyk's footwork, speed and angles of attack, I think body shots will be important for both men as they each have great head movement

Weidman was an elite level wrestler, UFC and ADCC champ. Livesy played with him. He did the same to Barnett and Nick Rod. Come to the U.K. and train with him - he’s legit and imo the best right now
