Hey man, I have followed every step of your video, when I am in fusion and create the time stretcher, yours show 607.0 and when you go to your second marker it shows 57.0. In my case when I see my video that is 98 frames on my first marker, when I move to the second marker it shows me 98 frames as well. I am not sure why its giving me the same number, but you are getting a less number on your second marker. I would appreciate your help in what am I doing wrong. TIA
Eh brother! I was wondering what aperture and focus you typically use for your Realtor intro walk n talk? Are you f8? I just bought the lens and was wondering how much manual focusing is needed to keep subject sharp
@@duoco_media I was planning of getting the Sony 14mm f/1.8. Do you recommend that one or the 12mm? I'm guessing the 12mm since that's what you mentioned?
I watched your video a few minutes ago. And then it kinda dawned me how cool it is to do the speedramp within fusion. The curve control is much better. And they are extensions that even help with finding the right curve. Then there is option to turn it into a template. If I go there and let the blur be handled within fusion, it should be possible to use the keyframe stretcher which allows this to be an effect that can be just dropped on a clip. The input timing is important. So either the clip has to be positioned at the 0 keyframe to work or it has to be put in a compound clip first before applying the effect. But in principle it should work. Anyways great stuff. I really appreciate your tutorial!
@@cwbeas Got it! After finishing the first fusion clip (with the time stretch), you have to right click on that same clip (while being in the edit panel) and create another fusion clip. Therefore fusion clip A becomes MediaIn in fusion clip B. Hope this helps.
Hi, What lens did you use for this video? I am considering the 12mm Laowa or the 14mm for both photography and videography. Which one would you recommend? Thanks in advance!
Love your video and purchased your transitions which I feel is what I was missing. Agents love my videos even more since using your method and transitions. My question is if I am speed ramping with a drone shot orbiting around a house. I am using speed change and Retime speed because I cut the video and add a shake in middle then speed ramp again. So how do I add your transition at the end of that clip to say come back down to ground level. Hopefully this makes sense.
Great tutorial! I’ve watched it several times over. This might be a user error. But I can’t figure out why when I apply the time stretcher in fusion with 0 at the first marker and then total frames from the left at the last marker while making sure my curves are not horizontal in the start and the curves are curving on the last marker. The playback doesn’t create a speed ramp for me but instead it lags out or stays on a single frame. I thought maybe it was because I had my frame rate output at 24 fps in the settings for Davinci so I created a new project and switched to 30 fps. And btw I shot everything at 60 fps but still same issue. Then I thought it was because I was on windows so I tried on the Mac and got the same issue so imma take a break, put a prayer together and let me watch it a couple more times and see if I’m missing something else. If anybody else has had the same issue and figured out why it’s not speed ramping. I would appreciate that insight! Appreciate the energy that was brought into the world with putting this video out and the media community. Thanks bro for taking time out your day to put others on!
@Duoco, What's the solution when the speed points disappear because the curve is too tall to fit vertically withing the retiming window? If I set my ramp to (let's say) 800%...then I increase it to 1200%, odds are the the speed points sit too high in the window to be able to select and change them from the hard ramp to the curved bezier... I hope this explanation makes sense. I cannot find a work around for this! Any thoughts?
whats your opinion on using 2 hand gimbal setup, i noticed most videographers in real estate avoid 2 hand grips, is there a practical reason for stabilisation ect why they avoid a side grip handle?
I have mixed opinion on this, personally I believe I do get more stable footage with a two handle set up but in turn sometimes it is hard to get tight details shots due to the handles now allowing me to get close enough to the foreground for depth…or narrow hallways can become a problem when doing a speed ramp. In addition to this the set up and pack away is time that I personally prefer to avoid due to time restraints on site.
