Scotch is definitely not known for its "smoky flavor". Most worldwide popular scotch has no smoke to it at all (Macallan, Glenlivet, Glenfiddich). Only Islay and part of Highlands use peat in their whisky.
Gin is not made from Juniper Berries as mentioned in the video. It’s fermentable base is made from either grain, sugar beets, grapes, potatoes, sugar cane or plain sugar. After distillation it’s flavored with juniper berries and other botanical ingredients. Cheers!
Basically crash coursing on some bartending at the last of all minutes for a gig I have in a FEW HRS and ur channel has been a godsend 😂 I don't even drink so you taught mw literally everything From which drink goes in which glass to all the different slangs ppl use to order their drinks besides "on the rocks"
That's right. Sorry, the information is not fully correct. Unfortunately, I can not edit the video after it's uploaded, I wish I could. I'm hesitant to take down the video because it's my most viewed video by far, so that will really hurt my algorithm. I hope people will read the comments to understand Gin better. Thank you for your input.
I just learned that the beers in glass were draftbeer 😮 now i can walk in with confidence and ask for one 😊looks delicious very helpfull video thanks🍻 cheers
Very comprehensive and informative! I like to use my pint glasses for high balls. I have the faceted style of glasses in various sizes from shot glass size to pint glass size. They are very versatile. Also, for the absinthe, you might want to add “ice water” is slowly dripped over a sugar cube on the spoon atop the glass of absinthe liquor.
I totally agree with you. If you want invest money to speed up your progess somehow. Use your money to buy spirits, cordial, a few equipment to practice at home. I personally like to try different premium beers and whiskys so i use some money to taste those. Now when it comes to theoretical knowledge, you have everything for free on RU-vid and with Google. Don't pay for that.
bartended for a few years now but feel rusty since being in physical therapy school. I have a new gig coming up tho and needed a reminder on the multiple shots ratios . this vid was hella helpful, thank u
