Oh..i am 61 and born in berlin now living in nuernberg...Exept the children...i find it Hard to like the caracters as in germany the waltens startet with all the New Facebook.. espaceli grandad sam
Has a Child I remember the good old days when Christmas was a very special time when all my families would gather to gather at my grandmother and grandfathers house and we would have the country house smelling so good with three full meals a day, the smell was so deep and the best of smell of Christmas was in the air ❤ May your CHRISTMAS 2024 be MERRY and BRIGHT AND REMEMBER YOU CAN MAKE IT SPECIALIST IN SIGHT
Loved watching the Walton's when growing up. Then and now, good family movie filled with love. Not to many movies like this one any more. It's sad, but thankfully we now can watch it on video.
After the Great Depression and WWII, the Walton Family moved to Bentonville, Arkansas. Now, they are the richest family in America. Sad, because they lost all of those Christian and wholesome values.
Having Peter Falk's Coilumbo, Peter Sellers' Clouseau and Bogart's Sam Spade all together, in conjunction with Truman Capote, is very "Murder by Death."
I wish they used Patricia Neal as Olivia Walton in the tv series. LOL, asking a teenage boy: "What were you doing behind locked doors?" "Just checking the plumbing, mother."
I know its tv... But there are white people who believe everyone in the Bible was white!!!... These types will kill themselves if they found out every one was black in the Bible!!... Even Jesus.. because of the white washing of history!!. They really believe it!!
And god said that he will lead them to a mass delusion!!!... Its bible prophecy about the plan for the Caucasians.... And the evil and destruction across the world for centuries!!!!!!
My parents grew up during the Depression and the stories they told made me truly appreciate everything I have. They were so poor, a lot of times they went to bed hungry. I would cry when my Mother told me what she went through. I thank God every day for the blessings He has bestowed upon me. God bless anyone who reads this.
I saw this when I was about 14 .my first time seeing John boy Walton,of which I had a major crush.Since this was before the series and the other actors I thought they all looked great, still do., people are saying how old the parents look well that is really how they looked backed than, check out pictures from the 30s some looked older than this, actually Olivia from the series doesn't really look right, way to young and pretty for having seven children.
This show was my safe place to go in my mind. My family was far from perfect, but our mom carved out special time for us to watch almost every episode when we had time after chores. I love my mom for allowing us to watch a piece of history. A very wholesome family values through & through. ❤😊
This doesn't add up. Earl Hamner's parents were born in 1899 and 1904 so they should be in their 30s in the 1930s. The actors that play them are in their 50s so should be playing the grandparents instead.
What a great movie this was this was filmed before ralph waite and michael learned took ove the part of olivia and john walton happy mothers day to all of the women of the waltons i love you so much your 1fan for life
I'm sorry I got bored it just isn't the same without the original cast. Sorry I hope the new generation of young enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the series as a child
Like everyone in America I grew up watching and hoping our family could be like the Waltons. What a great and beautiful show. Their's nothing like it now and perhaps never will be. Thanks for posting this wonderful story. Goodnight everyone. 🙏🏻
