Aw thanks man, just finished my IBT cat A and instructor brought us all round the test course but i forgot half of it already lol ..will be able to practice the route now a few times before test, big thanks for the work!!!
I just passed my A license test last week. Didn't take a pre-test lesson but used your video as a refresher of the course. I still think your video is the only one of the Ballincollig course so its very useful for anyone in Cork taking the test. Delighted I passed mine. Thanks for taking the time to do a video. Safe Riding Everyone.
Many thanks...for the great video on mirrors life savers and so on...i did my pre test with ibt instructor last week so this will be very helpful...i dont like to pick holes but shouldn't you have stopped at 10.58 as light turned orange and i would say by the time you reached the stop line it would have been red..only mentioning this as i did that on my artic truck test in 2021 but luckily it was the only fault.
@@Deiseboi thanks for the comment man, appreciate it. I do agree on the video it seems I could have time to stop at orange light, but distance perception on video are different than real. Better to stop on the test day, unless you end up in middle of the junction 😉
I passed my driving test in ballincollig today and I have to say I had this video on repeat with the days prior to it. Very helpful video, it definitely benefitted me. Thanks for doing this video.
Watched this video - since it was one of very few i could find on the Irish test - and crammed as much of the info as i could in a week, as beforehand i had no idea about all the extra observations needed outside of junctions and roundabouts. Passed the A-category test today in Limerick and wanted to say thanks very much for posting. Without it i very possibly would have failed. Thanks man
Congrats man for your test, welldone! I'm really happy my video could help you to highlight what is super important on the test day, for sure it would have helped me as I failed the first time due to minor things, and there was no similar video on youtube at the time. Hope it will help more new riders in their test. Maybe we will cross each other on the irish country side roads someday! ;-) Thank you for your comment, very appreciated!
@@lafollyfamily Haha we may already have crossed paths. Damn helmets :D ...and thanks again. Hope this video gets out to more riders. I'll try spread it around.
Top stuff, severe lack of videos on how to ride for the test, mainly people including me not knowing the checks before moving off, turns ect. A big help for my up coming test 🙌🏻
Really glad it helps you man! I had the same feeling before passing the test, trying to find any videos to make me feel better and less stressed for the day... but found none.... Thanks for the comment, safe ride and best of luck for the test!
Thanks for video, but according my point of view too many mistakes: crossed the stop line and yield line (already failed on stop with re test), going to bus line too early, weaving the suv car on t-junction, I would say, to be honest, you have to fail with such approach
Thanks for the comment. The video is mostly here to help people to practice for the test, to know the track. It has been approved by IBT instructor, hence if any faults are being spotted, there are minors... Don't forget that quotas exists... 😉
Tend to agree, here's a good example of how beckoning other road users can get you to fail your test: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lP74XGmjs5k.html As for other mistakes it would be good to edit/comment on them for other people, just so they won't make them in their tests. Thanks for sharing anyways, there's surely lack of content for motorcyclists in Ireland.
@@okwilk totally agree, this part of road user behavior will make you fail your test. In this example, it would be needed to wait in your line for a time to pass, without gently telling the car to pass first . Tks for the comments lads
@@TentandaOmniayes, 8:01 i see tye sign, says mon-fri 09-18.30, i don't know thr time where the video is taken, but could agree that defines the time frame of use/don't use that line, thanks
Complex enough ride at points, well handled by all and instructor showing he hadn't misplaced his trust in his students ..I know this school is still teaching pity ye don't get back to making some more videos, there' such a paucity of such here in Ireland compared to across the water.
