The Knickerbocker Café, a storied music club in Westerly, Rhode Island, was built in 1933, shortly after the end of Prohibition. The Café itself is named after a train that passed through Westerly station at the time of the Café’s founding.
From the first time I led eyes on you with Trevor, sharing a stage with Mohali I was sold. Thanks for paving a gorgeous path Will over the years. Thanks for that Asbury NJ show a couple weeks ago, Peach last year and sharing the stage with my favorite independent medicine men. 🫶
Got to open about three shows for "Roomful" and one for Greg Piccolo in Colorado during the 90's. Always loved seeing/hearing them after our set. It was an honor and serious learning experience.
Bruce has it all, the tone, the phrasing and the feel, all these guys sound great tbh, think I’m hearing tons of Fatts Navvaro and Lee Morgan, as well as Wynton influence in Bruce’s phrasing
Id like to see Rebecca playing electric rhytym , acoustic its good always and she does it perfect of course , great little band , i would like to see them in a big production , they have it all.
The last time I saw Copley was at the 25th at Rhodes On The Pawtuxet. I went dressed up to get messed up, and did. Did Al hurl his shoe at the audience or was I trippin'?
I just find it incredible that this has 5k and not 5M views. HL is such a rare talent. Arguably best male vocalist of his generation, and among its best song writers. Also, a classy performer.
You did a great job keeping the melodies alive on those songs while keeping the bass goin with your thumb. I have a ton of respect for you as a fellow musician by the way. Keep doin what you’re doin, you sound really great even as a solo act👍🎼
i mean dear lord this has to be one of my favorite hamilton/walkmen set lists ever. would a bass guitar be nice? sure, but this is pretty much one of the best live compiliations spanning most of his artistry.
