Yeah, that particular world championships used a special build of PBR, that's never been publically available, that supported platinum features and all of that jazz. It's considered lost media, but it's pretty much just an otherwise minorly changed version of it (such as the battle music being stargazer Colosseum, likely set to be the default for all battles as this build was only ever intended to be used for the VGC)
Wait... Citra can connect to the internet and grab the BVs?!? Sweet. I might try that out, as capture cards a bit of a pain to get a hold of. I saw it, and was thinking if it was possible to grab both the images output for the 3D side, and then try using a Google Cardboard to try seeing it in 3D like that. Still trying to find where the images are output to.
No, I had to dump the video file from my 3DS using homebrew. Then I copied it to the corresponding folder for battle videos in Citra and played it back using the Vs. Recorder.
If his metagross would've used earthquake at the end, follow me wouldn't have mattered, he would've killed infernape, then he could've just bullet punched togekiss and won.
I know I´m 6 years late but if the metagross had used earthquake, it still would´ve lost since it would´ve been stuck with EQ due to Choice Scarf, and Togekiss is a flying-type.
toxicroak must have crit item plus high crit move like cross chop i would not be surprised if it crit 3 times in a row. its not hack people, it would have been detected if it was
Yeah, I noticed that also. So, I guess that makes sense. Also, the music (hard to hear) is from Stargazer Colosseum, not Waterfall Colosseum, amirite? I'd really like to get my hands on that version of PBR xD And they'll probably have another version for HGSS :)
Platinum trainers and HGSS trainers are not in PBR. This is just a special version used for the championships, only the Pokemon Company has it. Check it out, the screen says "Pokemon Championships '09"
Is the HGSS trainers in PBR also? Platinum came in Japan in 2008, while PBR in 2006.. Did they know how the characters would look then? Sooo interesting :P
With freeze you could probably defrost faster than waking up, which seems to never happen or your dead by then. Could always switch in a fire move, but then again that depends on what is frozen as if could die anyways. If your asleep, unless its rest talker its as good a dead with the kind of damage Pokemon can do to you in two turns alone in this gen. Your more than welcome to run tests and come up with your own statistics, all I can give is an opinion as everything boils down to probability.
That's you...I've been commonly frozen for 3-4 turns, which usually spells out death you can't rationalize probability with your own personal record of statistics that may have also been opinionated
