The warranty should be better for its price; however, I’ve had one warranty repair on a rod in 30 years of fishing and it was just a guide ring that fell off.
One thing you didn’t mention was sensitivity……I have a casting and a spinning and they look cool but you can’t feel anything. I sent in my first gen rods I had for over 15 years and they were replaced with these, but they do not compare. First gen rods were very sensitive. They were my go to worm rods, but new ones you can’t feel anything. I also received a Expride for and old red Cumara and the sensitivity is horrible. I’m Shimano through and through but I feel like you have gone down hill from 2008 recession……my opinion.
Still have mine from 2015 and will continue to use it. Not a big fan of this new color and last generation color (green). Maybe hopefully go Navy Blue or Metallic Dark Grey in the next generation?
Kinda confused. The website says mono line rating for the medium heavy 48" is 30 lb but this guy said he is rocking 80 lb power pro and 80 lb mono topshot. Why does the website say 30lb?
Great video! I have 2 older Stella 4000 FB's and 3 Calcutta bait casters. All in good shape and this video really gives great advice on how to clean, oil and lube. Went through all my reels after watching this video and performed some tips I've never done before. Thanks so much! Love Shimano reels!
