. I Re started to get my dream parting and fixed the size . I was depressed and anxious first specially the 4c locs can't be comd . I finally cut .I loved also tried some cute short cut before growing it .I feel Soo comoftable in my new set . Live life short hair is not a shame ☺️ when I get old I will say tried a lot of things in my life!
Thanking about starting my loc journey. How often do you interlock your hair? And when how often after putting the braids in your hair did you interlock lock them?
I know that this was three years ago but I figured that I should still give you some advice. If you already know what to do then this advice can help someone else currently looking for help. I am currently getting all my knowledge regarding maintaining my locs from Yannie the Locologist. She is on Facebook but I normally watch her videos on here. I hope that she may give you or anyone reading this comment some more insight like she did for me.
Thank you Queen! I get the birthday blues as well every year. So ironic that I ran across this short..my bday is towards the middle of this month.. and I planned to go with my children to this highland cattle petting place about 2 hours from Me. Love it!! Happy belated beloved 🎂🎂
Happy Belated birthday! Yes, animals are the best. Nature is a wonderful healer as well, being in, but for relationships, animals are best. I found I can live without most humans way easier than I can live without animals. No pretense with animals.

"The week leading up to my birthday I start getting depressed". Gurl...Ive said those exact words i dont even know how many times. Birthday is November 10th, about a week before I start falling into that place. Ive never had a birthday party or have been celebrated just for being alive (i'll be 48 this Nov), I dont have family/support system on this earth trip and every year gets way harder. 2 weeks after my birthday which is usually spent alone, is Thanksgiving, which is usually spent alone and the darkness comes harder, then 4 weeks later is Christmas Eve and by this point my CPTSD is going OFF. Then Christmas Day which is thee absolute worst. I mean..BAD. Then a week later is New Years. From Nov 1st to Jan 1st is pure Cptsd and severrrrre depression. I loved your video, just wanted to let you know that you're not alone ♡
Literally big chopping my locs today. I loc’d in 2020, & I’m releasing a lot going into year 41. I’m just waiting on hubby to get home from work so he can be apart of the process. S/N: you are gorgeous!
🎉❤ thank you for sharing! I used to feel kind of down leading up to my birthday as well and I did the same thing you did. I started making memories that I could remember and mostly doing my end of your goals and stuff like that that has been really helpful because when it gets to my birthday, I’ve already been able to recap the good things that have happened and make plans for the future. And it also helps me a tax time because I’ve done nine months of all of that stuff already and only have three months left when it’s time to do my taxes because my birthdays in September but I’m going to the gentle barn? Is that what you said? It looks like the perfect place for me!😊
