How does it's origin being foreign, make it non associated with the other word? It's not, they share a derivation. It came from the same place as the slur. Once again Bill talking out his ass and hoping no one is smart enough to call him.
The story that Bill related at the beginning is examined in detail in John McWhorter's excellent book "Losing the Race". I encourage everyone to find a copy.
Remember when Tony Romo started saying a work that started with N, stopped and people wanted him canceled for a word he did not say, and in no way was going to say.
Dave Wyndorf is in fact a GORGEOUS legend and he definitely has a LOVELY voice! In fact, there's NO other Rock Star more BEAUTIFUL and HANDSOME than Dave Wyndorf!
It's so funny how Wyndorf was already advocating for cancel culture back then. Nowadays he would be the one getting cancelled if he released a music video like "Space Lord" (or anything else MM did during their heyday). Didn't know he was such a pu$$y in the 90s. No wonder the band never had a consistent line-up, if Dave gets offended so easily. Greetings from Germany :=)
@@Crickett69 I couldn't stand Bob and Tom either😂 a couple Deutsche Bags. Awesome video im from Boone County. Grew up in the 80's their corny ass jokes and obnoxious laughter. I couldn't believe Q95 kept them on YEARS. You want Torture someone put them in a room with them 12 hours. Make a persons ear drum bleed
Love MM, but Dave is reaching... You should never have to dumb yourself down to appease the ignorant. Yes, caution should be exercised with word usage, but noone should be penalized because of others' lack of education. Never.
Dave is right in some way. But I would stick to freedom of speech: if you said a word, that's close to forbidden word, but said word is not forbidden itseld - you're clean. I love MM, but this move is disappointing.
