Thank you for taking the time to check me out. Well, other than pinderworld, I’m originally known as Derek and I sleep, drink and eat, travel. It’s mostly what I think about. Travel is love.
I also really enjoy travel through the eyes of others, especially on this platform where Vibrant photographs and cool punchy videos of amazing destinations around the world inspires and excites me. I have a mad love for aeroplanes too, so that very fact alone always adds to the thrill of booking trips away for me. I even go as far as checking and securing the type of aircraft that I want to travel on. That could even mean having to change my outbound airport to accommodate. So yeah, I’m geeky like that! 🤪
I love staying in great hotels, flying first and business class and eating great food, but who doesn’t. I’m a true believer in the only here once classic cliche, hence we also need to feel good too, so splashing out on the odd luxury or two when travelling is a tonic well served!
@@MPDLR hey, thank you for reaching out. The Vianao van going through the Upper Class Wing security barrier will definitely not be a problem. I think they have carefully made provisions for such a vehicle carrying multiple passengers and luggage. That experience alone for my wife and I was very exciting and the best ever check-in and security process of any airport around the world. Lounge was amazing too. @@MPDLR that’s what I meant by best check-in ever. When you load your luggage into the Viano, the next time you’ll touch them will be at your destination as the Virgin staff will greet you when you arrive at the Wing and unload them for you and whisk them over to the weighing belt. The check-in attendant will offer you a seat and take your passports. Once they’ve generated all your boarding passes, they will bring them over to you and escort you to their private security area. They will be no one there but your party. From there you can choose to do a little shopping in the terminal, or go directly to their lounge for some scrumptious dining and relaxation. @@pinderworld-travelenthusiast BIG help thanks. I'm at end of a 4 week/2 country trip and truth is - pulled muscle and I'm dreading the 5 big bags. So the assistance is important. Is it customary to tip the porters at Upper Wing if they help with bags? That was last question I promise :)

I remember boarding a flight once with two gopros. Had the batteries on charge only to realise when I got to the airport the they must have not charged at all overnight. DOH! Glad to hear you had a good flight, A380 is a beautiful bird.

Ok, for booking I'm just curious if all the presidential ocean view one bedroom suites were made with the jacuzzi on the top floor? How do we ensure we get the stairs. I've seen some of the presidential suites without stairs leading to the jacuzzi.

I’m travelling with emirates in December if I go to the First Class Lounge is everything free in there once you pay the entrance fee ie drinks and cigars?
@@sambonney971 hello Sam, thank you for engaging. As far as I know, you cannot pay an entrance fee to gain access to this particular first class lounge. Entry is exclusive only to passengers with a first seat boarding pass. If you do have that, then indeed everything there is fully complimentary which you would expect when purchasing such a flight ticket. Really hope this helps and thank you also for watching my video. @RTD3 you’re absolutely correct, BA’s a380 business class seats are rather dated and in dire need of a total overhaul. I’m sure they have that in the pipeline. I found their business seats on the 777 far more superior and even nicer than those in first. I believe Emirates far exceeds in luxury air travel. Thanks for watching and engaging with me. You are flying first class but no chaufeur, no personal towncar to drive you to your plane ?!! You even have to board with the economy passengers ???? Cant believe it ! Have your ticket refund and fly Air France La Premiere.
@AVERYCK77 yes, you’re absolutely right. British Airways do not provide a chauffeur service for their first and business class customers however, you do board separately to economy class. The lounge experience beforehand I have to say is exceptional as well as the on board service. I haven’t had the pleasure yet of flying with Air France La Premiere, I look forward to that experience. Very nice video, I've been living in South Beach for 12 years but I still like to stay at the local hotels every now and then just because... This is a gorgeous hotel and I guess I'll book a night or two soon... Thanks again for your video 👍👍

@@pinderworld-travelenthusiast I used to fly First and I am BA Gold, but got fed up of people having guests for lunch and couples making so much noise with the novelty of first filming themselves and using the phone, Club is just run of the mill and mostly quieter, there was even one man in 1K once who brought his own prawn sandwiches and then spent the whole flight tapping his spoon on the saucer, you get some strange people sometimes in First.
@beaaquino2904 yes, both are supplied for guest although we opted to use our own steamer which cuts the ironing time in half. 😊 Hotel is fabulous and the best location ever. Thanks for watching. ☮️💜☯️

It amazes me how some people would go out of their way to send such negative energy. My videos aren’t reviews as such, just my own personal experience of a moment I’m blessed to be in. I watched it with great anticipation, I’m returning from London to NY on BA in First Class on April 19th and hoped to get a “true” insight of what to expect, sorry but what you posted didn’t ramp up my eagerness for my upcoming trip, it didn’t dash my expectation, I was just hoping for more. It was entertaining and if that was your objective- mission accomplished
@@douglasslotolowicz9454 thank you for elaborating. It’s likely that you’ll be travelling back to New York on one of BA’s 777 fleet. I personally found the first class cabin on that particular jet to be a little underwhelming in comparison to their business class cabin which is what you originally commented on. Although the inflight service is undeniably good in first, your business class seat is way nicer with a private sliding door for privacy which first does not have. The food service isn’t that far behind first either. In first, you also struggle to look out of the windows because they’re so far away from your sitting position. I have recorded and uploaded that video if you wish to see it. My videos are usually one take with no filters, so you may want to bear that in mind. ugh!!, and everybody living below has to listen to that horrible motor sound flying around. These tour helicopter rides need to be banned once and for all. they are noise pollution and not safe. Get rid of all of them once and for all. Nothing is worse than going to a park and then being subjected to listening to helicopter motor noises all day long, it ruins the tranquality of a park.
