Hello! I am Kaylor Hodges, the host of Hammering Down. I talk about all things soccer, do some videography, and once upon-a-time marching band vlogger! Follow along and let's see what's coming next for the show!
I wear the Locus Pro Blackouts from Prime Focus Goalkeeping. The latex holds up really well on turf and has removable spines. Love them a lot! Primefocusgoalkeeping.com/product-page/locus-pro-blackout

Shouldn't be beat at your front post like that and pen needs to be pushed away as I keeper myself I no it ain't the easiest of things but 3 points is 3 points pal you go again and made a few key stops which the way I look at it won you the game
I was killing myself for that near post shot. I was more predicting than reacting. Earlier in the game, he tried a shot from a similar angle and tried to go far post. I caught myself leaning and couldn’t recover in time. In slow mo, I almost got a toe on it.
@@HammeringDown sometimes can be tricky u just learn from them allway fins standing clos to the post is a better option makes them wanna go out wind which can give you a spring we ain't going to save everything were only human but more you play more u put in your improve each game your defence were pretty solid to mate
I actually wrote a post about why this particular setup won’t work. Basically, it’s possible that through pro/rel, you can have a top division/league consist of west coast teams. I think you’re right that East/west is needed, but it has to be a dual pyramid system, not a single pyramid. The US is just too large. I’ll mention you on Twitter with a link to my article
One thing I was just thinking about is surely the Messi effect will help the US Open Cup right? Miami play against Cincinnati this year and Inter Miami and Messi will play in Open Cup at least 2 full years before he retires. If the Federation and Open Cup execs deal their cards right this could definitely lift the popularity and interest in the cup. One thing I’ve held a grudge against MLS is their lack of effort and interest in their own domestic cup - which to me is closer to the heart of the Beautiful Game, when all clubs can try to compete for champion of the US. Plus, if more of the country is involved in soccer through the US Open Cup that could fuel interest in more lower league clubs taking part in Pro/Rel. 😊
If I said they invented it, that’s not what I meant. What I was saying is that teams who went down and self relegated all came into USLPRO when it was D3. They just went back to that level they came in at.
Misspoke on that one. I meant San Diego going MLS. I had an incomplete thought. What I was trying to get at was that there aren’t many places in San Diego to host TWO D1 clubs.
I know Greenville's rivals very well North Carolina FC, Charlotte Independence, South Georgia Tormenta FC, and of course Union Omaha (battle for the supporters belt trophy)
Another Banger!! Great keeping in that game, lots of heroic dives and clears. Would love to see one day where you'd wear the GoPro as a body cam or head cam to get a POV. Here's to many more wins with the team. Greetings From Dubai <3
Much love! I would love to wear the chest piece and it’s something I may consider. If I had a second GoPro, I would 100% do it. The thing that I would miss is the people viewing this not being able to see the full pitch. Maybe I give it a chance sometime during the season!
Unlucky Man, but well played nonetheless! No need to be downed by a loss, we all have our off days and games can go south very quick but that's why they call it the beautiful game. You played really well, your positioning in the box is really good too. My tip for games where the defensive line seems to be weak is to play a more of an aggressive positioning, stay a little more outside the box, this gives the attacker less time and space to think where they wanna place the ball. Also don't be afraid to punish your defenders when they don't properly man mark like in 3:11. Verbal communication is key haha! All in all love it when you post a new vid!!
That’s a good point. I cut out about 100’ worth of video. I didn’t really do any context on the video, but this friendly was essentially a trial for a new, more competitive club. Still Sunday League, but much more competitive so I was trying to prove myself to these new guys, thus why I was in my own head.
