Passed my stateboard thanks to you in 2021! big ups. I am now a barber instructor as of february 2024 and I will use this for preparing my freshmen even though the practical is no longer required at stateboard. You are appreciated.
Has anyone had the plastic nail plate come off or a hole melted where the nail bed is while doing this procedure? If yes, what do you do if that happens?
I passed my practical 2 days ago because of this video 🤍🤍 I'm getting my license now!!!! I'm in ATL GA! As of right now, only difference was we did 4 marcel on top of head, a whole quadrant for virgin relaxer and we stood for facial. Thank you Ms. Evelyn!! I watched this religiously for a week straight before my exam🤍
I must have watched this video 10 times over the last month. It helped me organize my thoughts and have more structure than what was taught to me at school. Happy to report that I passed my test in GA using this video. The main difference (I found) was during the chemical portion: you will have to do a whole quadrant for RELAXER. I did not pack enough because she only does one slice. Good LUCK!
I’m taking my test in GA very soon and do we have to have the soiled linens in a drawstring bag and items to be disinfected in a plastic container? When I was in school they were all in paper bags

Just took the state board practical for Alabama and passed. Watched this 3 times and studied in one day, passed with a 83! This video showed me exactly what was on the test. The only thing missing is the lip wax at the last portion of the test, which you need to bring real actual wax and warmer. Follow the steps of the brow wax. I had prior experience doing facial so everything made sense to me. What I remember messing up on was forgetting to hold eyes and lips sometimes and fixing myself. I also didn’t bring a real wax warmer. I am super grateful for this video!
What type of wax warmer did people bring? The big chunky ones? I graduated in 2021 and when we were practicing, we just used Vaseline! Any more differences in this video vs the actual practical for AL? Do we still need gloves?
What is the word she keeping using that sounds like "essamay"? I know what she is talking about, the table setup, but I can't understand what word that is. I have never heard anyone use that word before.
I am so grateful for this video. I took my test today and i passed. GA state follows same protocol at the test shown in the video. There was no lashes application. My friend suggested me to watch this video and i followed everything. It was very intimidating i tried to stayed calm. Just remember to sanitize the hell out your hands.
I took my test in 2013 and I did not do half of the stuff. I kept renewing my license through the classes but did not pay TDLR because I was not aware and now I have to do this all over after 10 years. This is crazy
