Just trying to SHARE unique or arguably "upgraded" videos performed by Jerry Garcia & The Grateful Dead.
Some video's are "Pro-Shot" but MOST come from "amateur" (mostly tripod fixed) audience video's and thus these are mixes of two (or more) of these different sources. Always with the utmost respect & credits to those who initially filmed and transfered. I simply find that mixing these videos, despite potential differences in color, resolution etc..., gives MORE dynamics and ADDITIONAL viewing pleasure.
I hope that YOU see & hear that the +100 000 hours in time that I have taken to mix these "almost exactly perfect" (as Weir often said) videos, brings YOU satisfaction.

I can't believe I'm only the second person to comment on this 12 year old video post. Where the hell are all the deadheaded?? Today's October 1st 2024 and I just saw this video for the first time as I was looking for a show I went to on September 18th 1994 where they do estimated prophet at the shoreline amphitheater in "California!" Or maybe it was the 16th. Anyways I love how Jerry's smiling really big and puts emphasis on California and Paradise. Something got into him and he was having a good laugh it seems like. Thx for posting this show.
Primal dead in its raw glory on full display this night. All these years later. The band that could give you china cat sunflower, sugar magnolia, scarlet begonias, and songs of utmost joy and wonder could also weave their way through sonic landscapes and wind up pounding you in the chest with hard hitting, stone cold reality. Taking you past death and out the other side. What an experience.
Glistening with such prowess and demonstrations of Love. Their music flows from a giant weLL-spring, to purify our minds and encapsulate how joy can be utilized to water Hope. In our world today, there is so much hate and greed corrupting the innocent minds of children and adults alike. Listening to this music is another way I have fought for sovereignty over Evil. The peaceful nature Here is like a rising sun over the most sprawling vista, removing shadows with penetrating beauty. Today is the 27th day of September in the year 2024.
When you watch one of these clips in black and white, it's easy to forget how full of color the scene was. Even if you watch it in color, if you don't already know, you won't imagine the extra dimensions of color that were happening.

Hornsby could have done just as good as Brent jiving with Jerry. We all wanted him I know I did. Glad it never happened though we still got Bruce mad respect for both of these guys ❤
