We love to travel and explore new places and vlog along the way.
We share our vacation memories and any tips along the way. Theme parks, new places far and wide are what we love to see/do. Some of our vlog series include: Walt Disney World and Universal, Australia/New Zealand, Transatlantic crossing (and other cruises) and Abu Dhabi for the F1 and theme parks. We always like to go back to a few certain favourite places ✨
Thank you for watching! We travelled in mid May last year. I have done the same cruise in September with Celebrity around 8 years ago and it was fab. We went on an excursion to see bears which was incredible! Have a fab time on your cruise 😃
Great Viseo - If I may ask Do you recall the name of the whale watching company as I understand you booked through your cruise line but hoping you recall the name of the tour company. Also, What camera &/or zoom lens were you videoing with. With Sincere Appreciation in Advance 😊
Thank you very much for watching! I’ve looked and it didn’t say on our booking confirmation unfortunately. It just said the Whale Watching and Wildlife Quest. We had a lot of fun on it.
The only question I have it’s if the non-alcoholic beer is included, I suppose yes, because celebrity says all non-alcoholic beverages are included, but I read some people on Facebook who said it wasn’t.
Hi thanks for your comment. I didn’t have any non alcoholic beer but my guess is it should be included as all non alcoholic drinks included. I always just asked my server to check if I was unsure😊 have a great time!
Thank you for watching! Mocktails were lovely, if you can’t see one you like on the menu you can ask for one and they’ll most likely make it! I didn’t try the spa fruit juices but bet there are nice. I loved the hot chocolate from Al Bacio! Have a fab cruise ☺️

Hey, have just found your channel - hello from a fellow cruise vlogger! Fantastic choice of ship for this one - I'm absolutely dying to get onto EDGE class. Also, you had one of those really controversial balcony cabins - I really like them, but they get SUCH mixed reviews. I do think those rooms would be so perfect for colder weather cruising in Alaska or Norway, for example!
Thank you for watching! ☺️ Yes I’d heard mixed reviews but we really enjoyed having it. It made the room feel bigger and felt a bit more private compared to standard balconies. We don’t have a preference re balconies I don’t think, we just enjoy having one. Agreed for our Norway cruise that we’d like to book we’d opt for one. ☺️
We took a Norway/Baltic 14-day cruise in late July. We were on MSC (Fantasia), and it was very reasonably priced ($1600 per person). While a Celebrity ship would have been nicer compared to MSC, a cruise to Norway is really about the destination. And since Norway is the same whether you arrive on Fantasia, or Apex, it made sense to save money on the ship, and spend more on excursions. Also, we had to pay for flights from the US, whereas I assume you would be able to drive/train to Southampton. Anyway, we will be on Apex in May, going across the Atlantic from Florida to England. Then we will have 4 great days staying in London, before returning home.
Thank you for watching! It sounds like you had a nice time on your Norway cruise. That’s a good point re spending the money saved on excursions as I can imagine they were expensive. Yes the plan would be to go from Southampton. Have a great time on the APEX in May it’s a beautiful ship! ☺️
Thank you for watching lovely! The food is incredible, although my stomach has gotten used to the extra snacks and meals 🤣🤦🏼♀️ I’m good thank you, how are you all? Hope the countdown for your cruises isn’t long?! Xx
Great video, We have done Fords with MSC (May 23) and hated it (they cheap and pack them in model, though it wasn’t cheap for us), if you don’t try you don’t know. So 2 days after that cruise we booked Apex for May 24 (we have done Beyond in June 22 in the Med), for the same cabin you looking at for £4500-ish. As you can guess, the Fjords are lovely and need to be done before they close the best ones off to non-zero carbon ships (i.e. 99% of cruise ships currently sailing).
Thank you very much for watching! Good to know. We’re waiting for Celebrity to release their 2025 dates now and then hoping to book. Have a fab time on your upcoming cruise next year ☺️
Ok, 3 things we've definitely learned from your vlog is....1, to get that same bus tour, 2, look into buying one of those floating houses, 3, find jobs in that cheesecake factory. Luvin the channel
Those 'spiders' (art) on the roof you captured looking down were just incredible. We're heading straight over to look at your other Seattle vlog because it is most certainly a city and a port of embarkation we are interested to learn more about.
No one chooses salad when there's cheese buns and a chocolate fountain 😆 We love that first day wander and explore, and with a ship like Apex, you've shown us that there's lots to discover.
Exactly! The thought was there 🤣 on one of the port days we didn’t get off and I do a ship tour so will post that vlog when we get to it. Thanks for watching ☺️
Thank you! I actually have that filmed and edited but didn’t get chance to upload it before I went away. I have more opinions now that I have done the all included alcohol package too. So if I get time I’ll add that in too :)
Hope you have a fantastic time and happy birthday to your wife! Definitely put on your reservation your celebrating a 60th birthday. We are currently on board a Celebrity cruise and a family member has a birthday and they bought out a surprise cake at dinner!
Thanks for watching. The night before the last night (from memory) they leave a notice on your room to let you know which group you’re in for disembarkation. Each group equates to a disembarkation time. Then you have the choice to go in that group and leave your luggage outside your cabin the night before think 10pm was the cut off. Or if you want to take your own luggage off you can do that but have to get off the ship early (think it may have been 8am but not sure as did not do this). It was very well organised and once off the ship you collect your bags (they’re in rows). I can’t comment on Vancouver as we came back to Seattle but it is well organised.
Hi thanks for commenting! The wildlife part of the excursion was the other animals we saw on the trip as far as I’m aware. We stayed outside for most of the excursion so they could’ve also told facts possibly inside but we couldn’t hear as we were whale spotting outside still ☺️
Ahh you’ll have a fantastic time. We really enjoyed it and the views are breathtaking. In regards to weather it was 28-30 degrees when we left Seattle so quite hot (not sure if this is the norm?). Then when we got to stops in Alaska it varied from 16-10 degrees. If you’re doing any boat tours (e.g whale watching) make sure you have hats, gloves and thick coats as it’s cold out there. We were very lucky and didn’t have any rain! If you have any more questions just let me know ☺️✨
We watched from our balcony originally (I went to the sky bar around 6:15am and they had hot drinks but all the window seats were taken). I loved watching from the balcony with breakfast to the room but then we went to the back of the ship and watched from memory. As the ship turns you get a good view from all areas :)
@@alltravelperspectives Good to know! Are you allowed to take your food from the buffet and sit in other areas like the Sunset Bar or the Oceanview Bar areas? Or can you only sit in those areas if you get food/drinks from the bar itself? I'm asking b/c people always say the views from these 2 spots are great. Thank you!
@@schindamany we were encouraged to take our food from the buffet to other places E.g Sky Bar one day as it was very busy. We also did this another day and it was fine :) the views are fantastic everywhere! I’d say always try sit near windows ☺️
No problem! We were literally there yesterday too and used the same pass. You can have it in your phone and then they scan it at the ride you’re at. As this fast track is per ride (the 5 big coasters) ☺️
Hello! I noticed you rode a shuttle from and to the ship, did you set that up ahead of time? If you paid once you got off the ship, what forms of payment do they take? What other forms of transportation is there from the ship into downtown Victoria? Thank you!!
Hiya! Thanks for watching ☺️ when you get off the ship at Victoria there is a shuttle bus you can get I can’t remember the exact amount per person to be honest but you could pay in US dollar or Canadian. We didn’t pre arrange it, it’s something which is already there. You could pay cash or card and it was return. Or there is the option of a taxi if you prefer. We just liked that the shuttle was return and we knew where to get picked up and where we were dropped off ☺️
Hi I’ve loved watching your last few videos! They are getting me so excited for our cruise on the Solstice at the end of the month. Can I please ask what people were mostly wearing for dinner in the main dining room and on the chic nights? Packing for this trip is a bit daunting for me. Thanks!!
Thank you so much for watching the vlogs, that’s so kind! How exciting, have a fantastic time. It really varies, we like to get dressed up, so my partner always wore a shirt and a jacket and me a dress. However, on chic nights he’d wear a tie as well. Others on non chic nights wore a variety, I saw some in jeans, some in casual dresses, some in long sleeve shirts. I’d say there is a real mixture. We were probably more overdressed but we like to get dressed up on a cruise. Sorry that doesn’t help loads! In my next vlog it’s another chic night! Have a fab time ☺️ x
Thank you! That helps so much! I would personally much rather be overdressed than underdressed. You made everything look so fun and now I feel like I just have to try that French onion soup! I cannot wait to go!
Not an odd question at all, I wondered the same before going. We walked round the ship in t shirts/tops inside then I’d wear either a hoodie or cardigan if I knew we were outside. Then by the glacier I wore a coat as we were outside most the time. In the next few vlogs you’ll see that it’s not too cold inside the ship ☺️
@@schindamany oh yes I wore sandals as well as it was really hot when we left Seattle. I took a variety of shoes including, heels, sandals, trainers, waterproof walking shoes etc ☺️
Thank you for your comment! I’ve always vlogged holidays but in the past few years just put them on RU-vid to show family members and to give tips if I have any! ☺️
@@alltravelperspectives eeek! So excited! We’ve watched sooo many videos to help us prepare/what to expect on our specific ship and voyage and yours has been the most helpful by far! 💗
Hi, very interested in seeing your conclusion of whether the zero proof works out. We are zero proof cruisers as well. Have a great cruise & smooth sailing 😊
Thank you for watching and for your comment ☺️ I’ll be putting that video up once all the vlogs are out. We definitely enjoyed the convenience of it and made good use of the package. Happy cruising 🚢
Looks like a lovely ship and the food looks amazing. That zero proof package would suit me down to the ground. Happy to spot Monopoly Deal too. Absolute fave game. Great vlog ❤
Thank you for watching! ☺️ the ship is a nice size, not too big but with lots of things going on. They also did mocktails which weren’t on the menu E.g a virgin Pina Colada etc. oh yes we’ve had many competitive Monopoly Deals in the family 😅 We also started playing UnoFlip this trip too. Thanks for your support 🤍
You did so well fighting through the jet lag and the bus tour looked brilliant and definitely the way to see everything. Can't get over the size of that salad at the Cheesecake factory and can't wait to see the cruise ❤
Thanks so much for watching lovely! You make vlogging travel days look easy (I was so jet lagged couldn’t remember to pick the camera up😂). I know right, the salads are massive, could take half home. Thank you for watching, looking forward to editing the vlogs! Hope you’re having a fab weekend x
