Neat video. Thanks for bringing us along that cool little experience. Only thing that was nervous, a slight shine on rail heads maybe lightly used. Tires wouldn’t short the track circuit indicating occupied track. Little nervous if that occasional train came. That could be illegal. I’m relieved no one got in trouble and glad you could make this video to share. Thank you again
Dude! Quit the krap ! There have been many holster discharges on Glocks , SIG , and Walthers. Guns tgat dont have external safety. The safe way to carry Glock is not to chamber a round. I'd rather FUDD it with 1911 , 2011, M9 ,or M17 . Guns that do have real safety.
I saw somebody drive on tracks to get you a hunting spot and I thought that is the craziest thing… and when I thought about it, I thought to myself I bet there’s somebody on RU-vid that drove on train tracks and here’s your video. Good job nice to see there’s still some crazies out there.
I love my Glock. It’s the only pistols I own. But no matter how you pitch it, a safety in my eyes is something that prevents the gun from firing when the trigger is pulled in ANY way, and the Glock does not have that. That being said, to quote someone from a earlier comment, “the best safety is a functioning brain and a proper holster”. And if you can’t handle the gun without accidentally pulling the trigger, you shouldn’t own any gun.
Saying "if you can’t handle the gun without accidentally pulling the trigger, you shouldn’t own any gun" is like saying "if you can't drive a car without crashing, you shouldn't be owning a car." Guess what. Shit happens, often outside of our control. A manual safety on a firearm is akin to a seatbelt in a car.
My only issue is that it's actually, "if you can't handle the gun FOR HOWEVER LONG YOU OWN IT AND HOW MANY TIMES YOU USE IT without EVER (NOT ONCE) accidentally pulling the trigger OR GETTING A PIECE OF CLOTHES CAUGHT IN THE TRIGGER GUARD, you ..." It just takes one lapse, one mistake, one time taking a shortcut, one time being complacent. You need to be 100% mistake free. Not many people can do that in anything. That said, you could say the same thing about a manual safety on an SA gun or the decocker on a SA/DA gun. If you forget to engage it just once, you're holstering with a hair (SA trigger). Or, if you forget to disengage a safety when you draw just once, you could be *click* "shit!" *boom* dead. About the safest you could be would be carrying a very heavy DAO, but then it's hard to hit anything fast. Either way, training is the key to keeping the chance of a mistake as low as possible.
Most the time when movies and video games show this trope the cast iron is pretty thick and heavy Better try this again with a pan that's (as said before) thick and heavy
I hate sporterized anything but at least if it’s done right I can appreciate where it came from. We have to remember there were millions of 1903, Mauser, Mosin, Arisaka, etc. etc. out there on the surplus market. They must have seemed endless. Even when I started collecting in the 90’s, they were cheap and people weren’t concerned. Their reasons for chopping them up weren’t wrong. A full sized battle rifle like that was made for infantry work like bayonets, and butt-stroking you enemies. They were heavy and sturdy. Carrying on over rough terrain looking for deer, or whatever wasn’t easy. Sporterized rifles we’re much lighter and more desirable since deer aren’t known to fight back. So I get sad looking at a poorly sporterized rifle but when done nicely, I have to at least admire the lineage.
You only shooting mild steel it’s soft take on Ar550 steel thats much harder you shoot 1/2 inch of that stuff the 30.06 will barley leave a mark it’s very hard steel
I used to have a bb gun peacemaker because the real thing was more than i could afford at the time. Sometimes, they really do just scratch that itch too if you cant shoot due to ammo being low or bad weather
I've shot 1 once my friend lend me put grips on it love how it ejects smooth slide lotta safety good take down nice built I own a jet fire 950 n n a raven
